Amy's K-9 Etiquette I started teaching Dog obedience to the public in 1999 when I quit my job as an assisted living aide. I continued to show in AKC Obed.

I have been involved in 4-H and showing dogs since I was 8 years old. and conformation shows until 2018. I offer Group classes for dogs 5 months & older. Prices for Obedience classes are as follows:

Group Classes are 80.00 for a 6 week class. Private lessons are also available as a 4 session package only @ 155.00 plus $ .50 cents per mile for those residing outside of Bryan city limits. Puppies under 1 year of age only.

My last session with the chihuahuas went very well. We met at the ice rink to see how they would react to that environment as it can be echoey under the ice rink roof and there are more people. They did very well with executing the commands we have worked on. a golden retriever unexpectedly walked into the rink area and took them by surprise and barking ensued but, that was expected as chihuahuas are protective even in new surroundings. They settled down quickly when their owner gave them correction.

Week #3 with Gwendaline & Pebbles went well. Pebbles barked when I approached to enter the house but quickly quieted down when her owner corrected her. Gwennie remains a bit unsure of me when by herself but, does give me eye contact. I worked with her walking with the husband and getting her to come to him. She is very much more comfortable with women. They are doing so much better and building confidence. Their owners have done a great job with taking them to new surroundings☺️ Love your dog, Leash your dog.
