🐴❤️ Happy Adoption Day, Allie & Wellington! ❤️🐴

We are so excited to officially congratulate Lindsay on the adoption of Allie and Wellington!

And truly… they are a perfect fit. 🥰

We are incredibly picky about where our horses go—and we make no apologies for that. Many of the horses who come through H3 have already experienced enough change, uncertainty, or situations that put their well-being at risk.

When we promise them a new chapter, we take that promise seriously.

Adoption isn’t simply about finding someone who wants a horse. It’s about finding the right person, the right environment, and the right relationship—a home where they will be safe, understood, cared for, and loved for the rest of their lives.

With Lindsay, we know Allie and Wellington have found exactly that. ❤️

Seeing them together makes all the careful screening, conversations, waiting, and sometimes saying “no” completely worth it.

Congratulations, Lindsay, Allie & Wellington! 🥰🐴

This is what the right fit looks like.

I've been thinking about progress.

And how often we only recognize it when it looks the way we expected it to.

With horses, it's easy to have a picture in our minds.

Today we'll accomplish this.

By now they should be able to do that.

We've practiced this enough times—they should understand it.

But horses don't read our lesson plans. 😂

Sometimes progress is getting on.

Sometimes it's getting off.

Sometimes it's riding around the arena.

And sometimes it's a horse who finally stands beside you without feeling like they need to leave.

Those things may not look equal on paper.

But to the horse standing in front of you, one might require far more courage than the other.

I see it with people, too.

We tend to celebrate the progress we can see.

The accomplishment.
The finished project.
The next level.

But some of the biggest changes happen quietly.

Trying again after being afraid.

Speaking when you'd normally stay silent.

Learning to say no.

Asking for help.

Choosing to trust.

Standing beside a horse you were once afraid to touch.

Maybe progress isn't always about moving forward.

Sometimes it's simply becoming a little more comfortable standing exactly where you are.

Horses have taught me not to ask only,

**"How far did we get?"**

but also,

**"What did it take to get here?"**

Those are two very different questions.

Health and Wellness for Middle School Girls

Does your daughter…

• struggle with confidence or comparing herself to others?
• have a hard time navigating friendships or feeling like she fits in?
• experience big emotions and isn't always sure what to do with them?
• put a lot of pressure on herself—or feel overwhelmed by the expectations around her?
• simply need a place where she can slow down, be herself and feel accepted?

Sometimes girls don't need another lecture.

Sometimes they need a safe place to land.

And sometimes that place has four legs. ❤️

This fall, **Hosanna Horse Haven (H3)** is offering a special **10-week equine wellness group for middle school girls**.

Through hands-on time with our horses, activities, conversation and connection, we'll explore things like:

🐴 Confidence & self-acceptance
🐴 Emotions & healthy coping skills
🐴 Friendships, communication & boundaries
🐴 Comparison & belonging
🐴 Physical and emotional wellness
🐴 Finding your strengths and interests
🐴 Connection, responsibility & empathy
🐴 Learning to slow down, observe and be present

**No horse experience is necessary.** This isn't about becoming the best rider—and much of our work will happen on the ground. It's about what horses can teach us about ourselves.

📅 **10-week series beginning Monday, September 14, 2026**
⏰ **5:30 PM**
⏱️ One-hour sessions
💲 **$40 per session — pay as you go**
🐴 Participants commit to the full 10-week series
👧 **Limited to 6–10 girls**

We intentionally keep this group small so the girls have an opportunity to build relationships—with the horses, with one another, and with themselves.

Interested but not sure whether it's the right fit for your daughter? You're welcome to reach out and talk with me or schedule a visit to the farm.

💬 **Comment “INFO” below or message H3 with your email address and we'll send registration information.**
