When socializing puppies, stop expecting perfection right away. 🐾

The goal in the beginning isn’t strict obedience — it’s confidence, curiosity, and learning how to exist in the world without fear or pressure. Giving puppies freedom to explore, sniff, observe, and make positive associations builds a much healthier mindset long term.

Too much obedience too early can shut a puppy down mentally and create a dog that’s obedient… but unsure of themselves.

Build the dog first. The obedience becomes easier after. 🔥

Outside is the hardest place to train — distractions, smells, noise — all competing for your dog’s attention. If your dog isn’t engaged, your commands don’t mean much out there
