Coming this October! Evidence Based Horsemanship C**t Starting Event! October 9-13, 2026 Martin Black and Dr. Steve Peters, the original founders of EBH will be coming together one more time for an all day Seminar and THREE days of practical application with colts and horses! This is an interactive event - Q&A daily, in- person brain dissection, colts starters learning from Martin Black in real time how to apply the science with practical application in the saddle - owners have the opportunity to work directly with Martin Black with their horses. What else is going on this weekend? A Dave Stamey Concert!! on October 10 at 7 PM - a Lobster Dinner with Martin Black (who will teach you HOW to eat a lobster🦞 limited seats, add-on cost)

Day 1 - in the books with Deb Davies - AN AMAZING day it was!! The level of learning, the subtleties of understanding how each connection is made from poll to tall, from hyoid to hind feet and everything in between is mind blowing - not to mention how we as handlers and riders are effecting everything with the horse every time we handle them. When we are done working with our horses, ridden, in-hand, ground work - the dreaded lunging... our horses are either left in a better place, or a place of pain. Do you know which it is? Are you doing better for your horse? It's not "just about us" but about the horse too. Deb will be here at Shinanatu Farm for 2 more days. Bring a chair and notebook. Your mind will be blown...

Evidence-Based Horsemanship 2025 C**t Starting Event at Shinanatu Farm

A weekend to remember! A coming together to honor horses of all levels, to help them from "Where they are" to learn the science behind the "why and what is happening". Veterinarians, Body Workers, Trainers, Students of the Horse, from all areas of the world gathered at Shinanatu Farm for the 5th Annual Evidence-Based Horsemanship Event.

Martin Black and Dr. Steve Peters left nothing on the table as they poured from the science and practical applications during this 4 day event. A special Thank you to all those behind the scenes that help to bring this incredible event to the highest level of seamless organization from the seminar, to catered homemade meals, colts, book signing, mercantile of gear and support through being present during the hustle of the daily activities each and every day.

A tip of the hat to those who come to learn - who supported each other - who stayed from beginning to end from the challenging moments to the mountain top experiences. Thank you, Cal Middleton, Chris Tejero, Jason Wooldridge, and Jacob Corwin for continuing your education with Martin Black and Dr. Steve Peters.
