Visitors as well as clients have asked how we keep the flies down in the barn. Don't think there is a cure for no flies. Cleaning stalls daily (sometimes 2x ) have adequate bedding, keep your alleyway swept or raked daily. When cleaning stalls, sweep under feed pans as well as water buckets. Our feed is dumped into barrels that my dad made metal lids for, no mice, no flies. And I know I'm crazy but I put the cleaner in the picture below in a spray bottle and spray on the stall walls and in the alleyway. I guess cleanliness is the best way to keep your barn without rodents
as well as helping the fly situation.
