Dino has grown up with us… let’s get this boy HOME!

Dino has been with us since July 7th — that’s 107 days! He came to us as a puppy, and now he’s 11 months old, about 65 pounds, and STILL growing! This shepherd mix is turning into one big, lovable boy, and he’s ready for a family of his own. ❤️

Dino is super sweet, loves everyone he meets, and is absolutely obsessed with other dogs! He loves to play, and his play style is definitely more rough-and-rowdy. 😂 He’s got plenty of energy, so an active home that can keep up with him would be perfect!

Since Dino is a big guy who hasn’t quite figured out his own size yet, a home without small children would be best.

Can’t adopt? Consider fostering! Dino would love a break from the shelter and a chance to experience life in a home while he waits for his forever family.

‼️BONUS: Dino qualifies for our $40 for 40 lbs & up adoption special! Take home this big lovebug for just $40!

He’s spent so much of his puppyhood growing up with us. Let’s make sure he doesn’t spend his whole puppy year waiting for someone to take him home. 🥹❤️

Meet Lexus!

Beautiful, smart, and always ready for a game of fetch! Lexus is a chocolate Lab mix, around 3 years old, and she has so much to offer her future family.

This girl is one smart cookie! She knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and stay. She’s also doggy door trained and gets along great with both male and female dogs. Lexus loves everyone she meets and never seems to know a stranger!

Her favorite things? A good game of fetch and splashing around in the water! If you’re looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy who will happily keep you on your toes, Lexus is your girl.

Lexus has plenty of energy and would thrive in an active home where she can enjoy walks, playtime, swimming, and lots of adventures with her people.

Even better, Lexus qualifies for our $40 adoption special for dogs weighing 40 lbs and up!

Come meet this clever, water-loving girl at the Cove Lifesaving Center. She’s ready to trade shelter life for a forever home, a ball to chase, and a family to love!

What’s the deal with Dale? He checks ALL the boxes!

We get questions about our dogs all the time: “Are they good with other dogs?” “Do they get along with cats?”

Well, when Dale—a favorite at the Madison Lifesaving Center—got to go home with one of our staff members, we found out all that and MORE!

Just over a year old, Dale has quite the résumé:

✅ Good with other dogs
✅ Good with cats, horses, guinea pigs AND reptiles!
✅ Loves snuggling under blankets
✅ Happy to watch cooking shows with you
✅ Good in a crate
✅ Great on car rides

If any—or ALL—of these fit your doggie needs, we have the perfect boy for you! Whether you need a road trip buddy, a blanket-sharing snuggler, or a fellow cooking-show critic, Dale is ready to apply. Dale is also part of our $40 adoption special!

Come meet Dale at the Madison Lifesaving Center!

🎶🐾 “You’ve Got a Friend in Me!” 🐾🎶

And boy, do we have some AMAZING friends waiting to meet you! 💚

Just look at all these adorable faces from our Brownsboro Lifesaving Center! 🥹🐶 Big, small, fluffy, goofy, playful, and snuggly… we’ve got a little bit of everything! Some of these sweet faces are ready for adoption NOW, while others will be coming soon!

Every single one of these dogs has a story. They were rescued from high-kill shelters across North Alabama and given a second chance at a happy ending. Now they just need someone to be their forever friend. 🏡❤️

💚 Want to help us save even MORE lives? FOSTER!

For every dog we can move into a loving foster home, we open up space to rescue another dog waiting in a shelter. Sadly, there are always more precious lives waiting than we have room to save. Foster homes truly make MORE lifesaving possible! 🐾
