King Fredrick is still searching for his forever home and needs to find a new foster by the end of the month, as his current fosters are moving out of state.

As one of the last animals at PeacefulPaws, King is more than ready to meet his forever family! He is a 3-year-old Rough Collie mix, weighing in at 55 lbs, and he is sure to impress.

King is up to date on all his shots and preventions, and he will be neutered shortly before or after finding his forever home.
Although King is heartworm positive, he’s currently undergoing treatment and doesn’t let that slow him down!

**For Immediate Release — April 9, 2025**

After a heartfelt and thorough discussion during our recent board meeting, we regret to announce the closing of PeacefulPaws Rescue Inc. Due to the relocation of our primary family, we have reached the difficult decision that we can no longer operate as we have.

We understand this news may come as a shock, and we sincerely apologize for any distress it may cause. Our mission when founding PeacefulPaws Rescue was to serve as a lasting resource for our beloved community. We cherish every connection we've made along this journey, and the support from our community has meant the world to us.

While we may explore the possibility of reopening in the future, our immediate focus is on the incredible dogs we have been privileged to care for, including:

Blueberry, Thor, Hercules, Gamora, Guava, Lucky, Sara, Mary, Lady, Dawn, Lucy, El Chopo, Bobo, Marley, Doobie, Gwen, Marshmellow, Remi, Mama, Raven, Teddy, Anthony, Eloise, Benedict, Colin, Daphene, Luna, Frank, Hunter, Winston, Snickerdoodle, Muffin, Charlie, Red, Gypsy, Pepper, Beans, Ladybug, Dimple, Dexter, Hermonie, and Hope.

And while there are many more, words cannot fully express the emotions we feel. Our love for this community and all the friendships we've formed will remain in our hearts. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We hope to cross paths again in the future. 🩷

Raven went to the vet this morning! 🌸

Raven has been having trouble gaining weight and was due for one of her shots. Thankfully, she is worm-free and was given omega powder to help her gain weight!

Raven has been with us her entire life and is such a sweetheart. She is also such an active girl, constantly playing and exploring. It's important to us to make sure she remains healthy!
