✨Final recap of 4 weeks of horseshowing✨

It was all about the Pre-Adult vibes 💁🏾‍♀️🐎

The new normal? Seeing our adult amateurs stepping into the show ring and owning their space—and we are HERE for it.

Jenna & Becca laid down solid trips throughout the last weekend of February with our friends at Elite Show Management. From start to finish, they rode with confidence, consistency, and grit.

We truly experienced all four seasons in one weekend 🌦️❄️☀️🌬️—but still walked away with such positive results, including ribbons in the $1200 JR/AM Derby 🎉

As we continue to shake off the dust from the winter season, The Authentic LLC is excited to offer two great horse show opportunities this April!

📅 Saturday, April 18
Join us for our Alabama Hunter Jumper sanctioned horse show, featuring classes from walk-trot through the 3’ hunters. A perfect day for riders looking to compete and gain quality mileage in the ring.

📅 Sunday, April 19
We’re offering a second show geared toward our lesson and school horse program. This day will have a more relaxed, welcoming feel—ideal for riders and horses new to showing, as well as a division for our adult riders looking to enjoy some time in the ring and a little equine therapy.

Grateful for a strong run of recaps over the last 6weeks. Hard to believe March is already wrapping up. 🙏🏾✨

We kicked things off in Conyers with our horse show friends at —and the vibes did not miss. The weather, the people, the horses… all on point. With MEC & TALLC joining forces, it was nothing short of a great time 💚

🌈 Becca & Dior locked into a whole new level of focus. They understood the assignment and walked away with multiple tricolors 🔥

🌈 & Blue made the most of their Conyers trip, laying down solid rounds in the 2’9 and Children’s Hunters 💣

🌈 & Bo stepped up and took their shot, putting together great trips in the 2’9 and Children’s—earning a tricolor along the way 🎉

🌈 & Star showed major growth as a pair. Consistent, confident rounds in the 2’ & 2’3 divisions brought home a few tricolors as well 👏

🌈 & Limerick cruised through the jumper ring with ease, putting in solid efforts in the Low Jumpers and collecting multiple ribbons🤘🏾

🌈 & Casserole had a great first outing since November. The sweet guy held his own in the warm-up division with JLM and made his mama proud with great rounds and ribbons 💛

The more I keep adulting, the more I realize how important the vibes are… especially when it comes to horse showing. ✨

Here’s to a good-vibing recap of the Kick Off Show 💚🐴

🎠 & Apache laid down some solid trips in the jumpers, picking up a ⚪️ ribbon along with other great placings in the 2’ hunters & equitation.

🎠 & Tucker teamed up for an outing, and she gave Tucker great direction in his first true off-property show. They won a class and ended up Reserve Champion in the Hopeful Hunters. 🎉

🎠 Charlotte & Indy paired back up for a fun weekend, snagging a couple 🟡 ribbons in the 2’ hunters & eq.

🎠 .herrod & Lacey made a great team, bringing home multiple 🔴 ribbons in the jumpers along with 🟡🟢 in the 2’ hunters.

🎠 .butera11 & Houston showcased all their hard work, earning a 🟣 in the jumpers, a 🟢 in the 2’ hunters, and a 🟤 in the MEC Ring Jr Board Eq Challenge.

🎠 .equiinee & Charlie stepped in the ring together to break through some mental barriers — and that alone is a huge win in our book 💚

🎠 Annie & Arrow had a magical outing, collecting great ribbons in the older ground poles and cross rails divisions 🟡⚪️, and earning a ⚪️ in the $250 Handy Challenge.

🎠 ._0820 & Bo (“Grrr and made things happen”) stayed consistent all weekend in the Modified, Low, and Children’s divisions — highlighted by a 9th place finish in the $1500 Hunt & Go Derby.

🎠 & Star produced solid rides throughout the weekend in the 2’ division, earning great ribbons and a 5th place in the MEC Jr Board Eq Challenge.

🎠 & Limerick cruised around the jumper ring, gaining valuable mileage and experience.

Let the recap begin… but backwards this time.

Horses have a funny way of leading you exactly where you’re meant to be — to great people, new opportunities, and unforgettable places. continues to do that for the TALLC crew, and we are incredibly grateful for the journey. 💚

What started out feeling like a bit of a wild ride turned into a truly memorable weekend for our horses and riders.

✨ our fearless team leader, once again showed us what true sportsmanship looks like. Drawing the lovely Gucci, who was a little stunned in the undersaddle, Hailey handled the moment with grace and poise. Their ride started out strong and confident, but a small miscommunication kept them just outside the Top 8. That’s the hard side of this sport—but the real lesson is how you rise after the tough moments.
We are so proud of you, Hailey. We love you. 💚🙏🏾

✨ stepped into the ring ready to show all the hard work she has put in this season. Paired with JLF’s Patrick, the two delivered a solid over-fences round that impressed the judges and earned them 8th place among some tough competition.
Way to represent, Ryleigh! 🎉

✨ We also had the pleasure of helping ‘s Mary at Zones. She and JLF’s Shavvy worked beautifully together to secure 2nd place, earning her a well-deserved spot at IEA Nationals.
Congratulations, Gracie! We’ll be cheering you on. 🎊

🐴 A huge shout-out to our incredible four-legged teammates Limerick and Star — we appreciate you both more than you know.

⭐ Star was awarded Sunday’s TIP High Point Award of the Show, and we couldn’t be more proud. 💚💚💚

And finally, a special thank you to Ava Grace, Hailey, and Susan for your help and support this past weekend. Horse shows truly take a village, and we’re thankful for ours.

Horses take love and passion to another level—and this past weekend at our IEA Zone 4 Region 2 Finals was a perfect example of that.💚❄️

Every team that contributed horses showed true care and commitment, especially with the arctic-like conditions we faced. The attention to each horse’s well-being did not go unnoticed, and it speaks volumes about the heart of this community.

Putting on a horse show is truly a labor of love. I am incredibly grateful for the support that and our region continue to give me as Region President. Thank you, our Region 2 teams —you showed up in every way.

A huge thank you to our show officials, the TALLC parents and riders, and our generous sponsors and supporters. This weekend would not have been possible without you.

And lastly, to my qualifying riders—my three ladies—you rode with heart and soul. I am so proud to be your coach.

❄️ competed in her third Regional Finals and earned a 🥉 finish in a highly competitive Individual Varsity Intermediate Over Fences section. You handled every moment with grace and poise. Great job, kiddo.

❄️ soared this season in so many ways. Winning the JV Individual Novice Over Fences section is incredible, and becoming a Zone qualifier is a win in my book. Way to go, boss lady 🎉

❄️ , your leadership means more to me than words can say. Your dedication and willingness to help both horse and rider is truly special. Qualifying for Regionals as a senior is an accomplishment on its own—but winning the “big cheese,” the Individual Varsity Intermediate Flat section, makes it even sweeter. Congratulations on being Zone-bound and on your commitment to Virginia Tech as well.

We’re excited to showcase our horses at Zones: Limerick, Rio, and Star.

Beyond late with this show recap—but here we go. The Authentic & crew joined forces for a fun-filled weekend in the Bluegrass State.

A huge thank you to Bruce and the team for their wonderful hospitality. We truly enjoyed horseshowing alongside you all.

☃️ & Blue worked through a few riding kinks over the weekend, which paid off with a Day 2 tricolor in the 2’9” Hunters, along with valuable mileage in the 3’ Equitation.

☃️ ._0820 & Chambo tackled a learning curve of their own and rose to the occasion, earning a Day 1 tricolor in the 2’9” Hunters.

☃️ Rebecca & Dior continued to make steady progress all weekend in the 2’6” Hunters, finishing strong with a competitive Day 2 tricolor in the Thoroughbred Hunters.

☃️ All of our MEC ladies brought home a collection of well-earned ribbons across both the hunters and jumpers.

All in all, it was a productive and confidence-building weekend—and we’re officially ready to take on the new show season. 🏆🐎

A heartfelt thank you to our banquet committee for selecting the U.S Space & Rocket Center as our venue. We loved celebrating our season in Huntsville this year!

This show season came in many shapes and sizes, and every horse-and-rider combination rose to the occasion. Congratulations to our entire TALLC family on achieving your seasonal goals.
