Hurricane Isaias may have stolen the sunshine while I was in the judge’s booth, but the good vibes were still in full effect 🫡.

River got to play judge’s assistant all weekend. As you can see, he was absolutely thrilled 😄🐾.

Incredibly grateful to call this my weekend job. Thank you to Elite Show Jumping & Jenny Darst for the invitation to be part of your 2026 season. Looking forward to being back with y’all for 2027🙏🏾!

River Glen, you are something different and special all at the same time! Another great outing in the judges booth.

I see why DQW loved it so much. 🫶🏾

Thank you, Casey Balloch Johnsey & Mr. Bill, for the invitation to help close out your 2026 show season.

Grassroots is where it all starts. I loved hearing the kiddos praise and reassure their horses even when their rounds weren’t going quite as planned. Those moments say so much about their hearts and the love they have for their horses.

A steady reminder of my “why” for horses. 🐴

We walked away from our first IEA show of the season with plenty of high moments and a few things to work on. A lot of hard work paid off!

Our horses stepped up and performed well both days. Baby Houston eventually stole the show and became a crowd favorite. 🐴

What made my heart the happiest was the leadership, sportsmanship, and support our riders showed one another. Their love for the horses sets the tone for this team. We have a handful of new faces this season, and they hit the ground running. I’m beyond proud of them.

Our middle school team put in solid performances and earned points toward the season. The high school team rode their hearts out both days, finishing Reserve Champion on Day 1 and Champion on Day 2! 🏆

I’m proud of the entire TALLC IEA crew. Now we’ll fill in the gaps before our next outing.

A big thank-you to Jessica Clark , Lydia Jane , our team captains, and all the parents for your help and support. Extra thanks to Wendy Butera and Laura Sewell Furr for keeping everyone fueled up! Finally to Marianne England, the Miller family & the Lucky Fox IEA Team for their hospitality.

Time to recover, practice, and enjoy this fall like weather. 🍂 IEA Zone 4 IEA - Interscholastic Equestrian Association

Grateful for the chance to scoot away to Pensacola and judge this past weekend. Escambia County Equestrian Center is near and dear to my heart. So many memories and experiences there helped shape me into the professional I am today.

A big thank you, as always, to Morgan Taylor and the Horse Show Ventures crew for your hospitality. It was a weekend well spent in the judge’s booth!

Another marathon of officiating is just a hop, skip, and jump away in a couple of weeks. I can’t wait. 🐴

Captured moments like these are our “why” as trainers🐴💚

We’re always in these riders’ and horses’ cornersduring lessons and just as much in the show ring💯

Grateful that I get to call this my workplace and even more grateful for the people and horses who make it feel like home. 🐴 📸Wendy Butera

Outside of being home on the couch, in the judge’s booth, in the saddle or in the ring teaching. I truly love being at a horse show, showing off our incredible customer tribe and wonderful flock of horses. 🐴

Thank you to River Pine Farm for opening your farm to us. It may have felt like an Alabama oven temperature wise, but we all survived with great results, plenty of smiles and little to no tears!

Thank you to all of our TALLC and MEC people for another great AHJA horse show weekend. All the hard work put in throughout the summer paid off in so many ways.

A special thank you to Jessica Clark & Marigold Equestrian Center for helping make the weekend so successful, and to everyone who handled the behind-the-scenes “elf work.” Those quiet helping hands never go unnoticed and are always appreciated!

It was a comeback tour meets good times all around and I couldn’t be prouder 🖤🩶💚
