Welcome to July! We hope everyone's summer is starting out well. Just a reminder with the change in season, comes risks to our furry family members. Remember with the hot temperatures, we want to limit the time our pets are outside and exposed to the temperatures. Limit walks to short, necessary walks only (for potty). Not only is the air temperature a concern, but the surface temperature as well. Heat stroke is a real concern and is an emergency if your pet is experiencing this. Make sure pets have access to plenty of cold, fresh water at all times. Also, make sure to maximize shaded areas as much as possible when having your pets out. Never leave them unattended in a hot vehicle, or outside alone. If you do not have to take your pet out for an appointment, it may be in their best interest to have them stay home.

Just a friendly reminder for the upcoming 4th of July holiday:

If your pet is in need of medication refills to get through the upcoming firework celebrations, now is the time to call in those refills! Please allow a minimum of 24-48 hours for us to refill medications 💊.

Also, our office will be closed on Saturday July 4th in observance of the Independence Day Holiday.

We are please to announce that we will have our Community Day event this year on Saturday, July 11th. As most are aware, we will hold the festivities right outside of the clinic. The clinic will be closed for appointments this day. We look forward to seeing you there from 11a-2p. We will have food, a petting zoo, activities for the kids and fun!!!
