Dog walker/Pet sitter needed!!🐾❤️

Belle’s Animal Care LLC is currently hiring! We are a well known pet care business that services DELCO, the Mainline, and the surrounding areas. We are licensed, insured, and bonded.

This is an amazing opportunity for supplemental income. Getting to play with animals and getting paid for it?
While our care entails more responsibility than playing, that is a huge part of the work we do. We treat the pets we care for as if they’re our own.

We’re looking for someone who ✔️ these boxes🥰:
18 years or older
Drivers license and reliable transportation
Someone who is dependable, and responsible
Someone who can follow instruction and is honest
Is available for some holidays, at our holiday rate(we don’t work Christmas)

You make your schedule!! This is a 1099 job.
You will have access to my current clients
You will receive leads via Thumbtack, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
We have a software system for your scheduling, invoices, appointment requests, and more!!

Check us out at www.bellesanimalcare.com 😊

Have you ever felt trapped? Have you ever trusted the wrong person, only to realize it much too late? Most of us can understand this feeling, and similarly, if you’re seeing this, odds are you’re a pet-lover yourself. No one should ever be put in a situation where they have to choose between their lives or their pets safety - but many do!

If you or someone you love is suffering from a domestic abuse case, there is a way out. You don’t have to leave your fur-baby behind as a means of survival, and you don’t have to stay either! Under the American’s with Disabilities act shelters are required to welcome in those with service animals so long as they have the capacity. Following this, it is important to note that not all of our companions are service animals. Here are a few Pennsylvania shelters that allow pets:

AWARE (Hermitage) 724-342-4934
Clinton County Women’s Center (Lock Haven) 570-748-9509
Crisis Center North (Pittsburgh) 412-364-5556
Women’s Center and Shelter (Pittsburgh) 412-687-8005
Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center, Inc. (Tarentum) 724-224-1100

For more exact locations, you can go to SafeHavenforPets and input your location.

“71% of women in domestic violence shelters report their abuser threatened, injured or killed a pet.” “Nearly half of victims stay in abusive situations rather than leave their pet behind.” “52% of survivors in shelters leave their pets with their abusers.” “As many as 25% of survivors will return because the abuser is using their pet as a means to get the person back.” These statistics can be found from RedRover and the ASPCA.

Also through RedRover and the Purple Leash Project, you can donate as low as $25 to help fund a pet whose family is escape a domestic abuse situation.

This issue truly shed light on the fortunate fate most of us share of not having to choose between our safety and our pets. With Thanksgiving upcoming I hope we can all acknowledge the small blessings, and understand why it is vital to lift up issues like these that go unnoticed.
