Franklin County Indiana Humane Society We are a 501.c.3 nonprofit volunteer organization providing assistance for needy animals in FC. We'd love to have you join us.

We are proud to be Franklin County's oldest nonprofit group working on the behalf of area animals. Our volunteers have been working together with the community since 1976 to provide a better outcome for the stray animals who make their way to our area shelter and rescues. Our building doubles as a site for THREE low-cost/high quality spay/neuter transports and for adoption events. The focus of our organization is to reduce the number of animals born in Franklin County, to improve the outcome of those who make their way to the shelters, and to provide educational resources to the community we share. Since we receive NO county funding, fundraising and donations are how we keep our doors open. Your financial support goes 100% to support our mission since we have NO paid employees. Volunteers who have a heart for helping animals are always welcome!❤

📣Hey FC- let’s get those pets fixed and prevent unplanned litters…our local shelter and rescue are continually full and volunteers are working as hard as we can. Spay and neuter is the only solution to our pet overpopulation problem!

Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic is coming to Brookville. There are still plenty of spots open for DOG 🐶 and CAT🐱surgeries on Tuesday, October 27. Pickup and drop off at Grooming Girls Pet Salon.

Keep in mind, they do not require an appointment for feral and outdoor cats; therefore, you can bring up to 2 feral cats per day per person.

☎️To schedule your cat or dog for a surgery, please call 317-922-8185 or 317-675-0072 and leave a detailed message.

👩‍💻You can also visit their website posted below in the comments ⬇️ to complete an online submission form to start the appointment process. When you go on the website, you have to choose the transport button and "schedule transportation;" otherwise, you will be directed to choose between the Brownsburg or Noblesville clinics. They do not transport for vaccines only; however, vaccinations can be done at the same time as a spay, neuter, or dental.
Thanks for sharing to spread the word about this opportunity!! ❤️
