3 kittens were adopted today, $150 was donated and we were able to purchase a new high powered mini split for the rescue thanks to a donation from Marion Corporation. I would say it’s been a great day.
Also we have a winner from our $5 Friday Flower pot giveaway!!

Came to Lowe’s for an adoption event and got called to Meijer for a kitten emergency. Lois ran down and saved him.

The Calendars went to Print!!! Thank you Apparel and Graphics for giving us an amazing discount to get these for a fundraiser, thank you to everyone who purchased ad space and a huge thank you to D&S Taylor Electric, inc. for paying for the calendars to be printed. We just cant thank everyone enough.

Special credit to Lois who spent hours putting this together, found sponsors and did all the leg work. I dont know what I would do without such an amazing lady on my team.

We need to raise $1500 to pay off the vet bill. Together we can do this!!
We have had a lot of vet appointments this week, between the EB babies colony, Carls rechecks , the kittens who were dumped and just normal vet visits it’s going to be a crazy month. So we need to get this monster paid off!!
Thanks to a few very generous companies we are going to have a couple drawings. Everyone who donates at least $5 will have their name put in. If you donate $20 or more you get 5 entries. Our first item is a gorgeous bucket of flowers from The Old Barn and Garden Greenhouse, provided by sisters Karen & Cindy.

We got litter and hard food, plus a couple donations that let us buy wet food. We are ever so grateful to our followers.
Tomorrow for $5 Friday we will be raising funds to pay off the $1500 pending at the vet. So many babies have been seen this week, including Roman, 15 babies, our poor little guy that was lost today, and our sweet handsome Biscuit.

These 2 beautiful moms were found together in an abandoned building. Cuddling together and caring for each other’s newborn babies. They are inseparable, when one moves even to go for a potty break the other watches and waits. The babies are never without one of them. Such an incredible example of how much animals love, how deeply they form bonds.

Reposting hoping someone will help fill this need. Kittens need wet food twice a day, under 4 weeks 3 times and adults at least once daily. Especially in the summer. It keeps them hydrated and helps them digest easier. Our main goal is to keep our sweet kitties happy and healthy, ensuring they have enough fluids/moisture is key.

If you want to donate towards the cost that would be great too.

With so many we are going through a lot of food…a lot! We also need Iams adult hard food.

Wishlist Wednesday! (Side note Prime Days is coming June 23-26)
Please help! We desperately need Fancy Feast Kitten (fishy flavors) Sheba, Royal Canin wet (mom and baby cat and kitten) Tiki cat, kitten milk, and baby blue wet food. We have a ton of babies now that are under 3 weeks.
We also need adult shreds, chunks or cuts (not pate please) and litter (tidy cat and paper pellets), also need adult Iams hard food
With 150+ cats and kittens total you can imagine we are going through a ton of food.
Remember you can shop local and drop it off. Either here, at Horizon or at TrueValue Carroll County (they have some wet foods 😉), or at Lowe’s Saturday.
