--The Brooklyn Lyceum will soon be heading ONCE MORE UNTO THE BREACH in search of due process by turning Judicial Lemons into Lyceum Lemonade. Help us make it happen quicker. Throw down some time and an affidavit or two about what you see. In return you get Lyceum Curatorial votes when we get back in business.
--Then you can help program a venue that has seen the likes of Fiona Apple, Amanda Palmer, Vernon Reid, Yo La Tengo, Marc Ribot, Jose Gonzalez, and scores of others.
--Click https://brooklynlyceum.com/wip/10078 to see how. If you are pressed for time, read the RED tabs.
--Review some simple docket items: two Notices of Motions, one Proof of Service, one Decision (two para), 2 simple statutes, two attorney affirmations, and a 142 page Decision and supporting papers (a PDF) to find any affirmation dated one of two dates (they don’t exist).
--Then you are ready to speed up the Return of the Brooklyn Lyceum because the unavoidable issue is that the courts (lower and appellate), in an ill advised attempt to short circuit due process for the Brooklyn Lyceum (made up facts, altered docket for plaintiff, partial quoting of caselaw), created a winnable battle.
