Early phases of duration down training with 1 year old puppy, Grace. Obedience helps create predictability and otherwise predictable situations. Your stationary command is the gateway to behavior management. Having a dog remain in place with distractions happening solves many behavioral management issues, both in home and outside of home. It’s important to start simple and slow, then ramp up the distractions as training progresses. If you’ve never taken your dog through distraction, but it will not be ready for the distraction.

She’s a 5-month-old Pomsky. Our daughters, Solana, and Avani already adore her - and Willow is adjusting to her temporary home.
