💔 JACK IS 10, BLIND, TOOTHLESS, AND HAS LOST THE ONLY HOME HE KNEW. 💔

Despite everything, Jack is still one of the sweetest, friendliest boys you could meet. 😭❤️

Jack is a healthy polydactyl (who doesn’t love extra toes) senior who lost his home when his owner could no longer care for him due to dementia. Through no fault of his own, he now needs a safe, loving place to call home.

Jack may be blind and toothless, but he knows kindness and loves gentle affection. He is very friendly and currently lives with other cats, too.

Please don’t let his age or special needs make you scroll past him. Jack still has so much love to give—he just needs someone willing to give him a second chance. 🧡

Red Hook Dog Rescue brought Goldie 🥰 for an exam, and we couldn’t resist sharing a little update! She’s incredibly smart, polite and gentle, and she had a great time posing for pictures and enjoying some well-deserved treats with our staff. 🥰

We’re so happy she got to spend some time with us, and we’re hoping this sweet girl finds the loving forever home she deserves. 🐶🧡

UPDATE ON PIXIE 😢

Unfortunately, Pixie tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV).

Kittens rarely clear the virus or move into a regressive infection, but we are not giving up hope. ❤️ We will continue to monitor and retest Pixie until 6 months.

The good news? Pixie is currently very healthy, happy, eating well, and enjoying life. She is still available for adoption to the right home.

FeLV-positive cats can live meaningful, happy lives, and we want to find Pixie a family who understands her needs and will love her for life. 🐾❤️
