Twenty Paws Rescue has one common objective and passion. Every day they strategize and devise plans to battle an ongoing epidemic plaguing our streets, the abundance of forgotten homeless, abused, and surrendered animals from every kind of background. Twenty Paws, a small rescue, is only able to bring their ambitious dreams to fruition by an exceptional and dedicated team composed of volunteers an

d fosters. Working tirelessly and within their means, Linda, Rachel, and the Twenty Paws’ team combine their boundless devotion to provide all Twenty Paws angels with exceptional foster life and vet care until they find a forever home. Even though the Twenty Paws focuses primarily on the “bully” breeds, they are not a breed specific rescue. Twenty Paws provides refuge and unconditional love to dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, sex, and temperament. Linda and Rachel strive to provide all Twenty Paws animals and families with the ideal match and safest environment possible. Furthermore, they have the strength inside to fight every minute. Until every shelter cage is empty, Twenty Paws will continue to be their voice. Twenty Paws Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization. All donations to the rescue are tax-deductible.

Go New York Go New York Go (down to the shelter to pick up Daisy and get her into a home!). Daisy’s been loving the hype around NY and hoping she can watch the Knicks win it all from your couch with you! 🏀🗽

Daisy is a young 2-3 yr old baby, she should be 50 lbs but is gaining weight due to inactivity at the shelter so shes at about 60. She’s been at the shelter a year- and we’ve been trying to get her out for 4 months.

So why is she still stuck there? A few reasons, none of which make sense 1- she is a black dog, and statistically they sit longer at shelters 2- she has a jaw deformity so her tongue sticks out. Personally, we find that adorable. 3- she’s not dog friendly. She was, but so much time at the shelter has put her on edge. 4- the reason she landed in the shelter to start— she playfully nipped a boy in the home she was in a year ago. It was a loud/high traffic home, and she got excited. For that reason, they returned her and left her to this sad fate. 💔

She’s a great, loving dog. One that everyone falls in love with. At surrender, she was said to have lived with cats and is not reactive to them at the shelter🐈. She’d do ok in a home with older kids, as long as it’s a calm home that can understand she needs to decompress.

Let’s make June Daisy’s last month at the shelter. 📋If you’re interested in fostering or adopting comment or DM us! You can also apply at the link in bio!

🆘We have 3 weeks to find Ivy (FKA Skyla) a new foster📣 Our sweet puppy Skyla has been doing great in foster the last few months but they cannot keep her long term (until she’s adopted).

🐾 MEET IVY: THE FACTS
🦮Breed: Cane Corso / Neapolitan Mastiff mix
👑Age: 6 months old (Born December 2025)
⚖️ Weight: 60 lbs (and growing!)
🐶🐱Good with dogs & cats (she will try to play with the cats😍)
👧Older Kids: Best with adults or older children (she doesn’t know her own size and is learning to trust).
🏡Guardian breed experience preferred.

Ivy is an incredibly sweet, food-motivated girl who already knows sit, down, come, stay, and spin. Ivy “The Collector,” loves using her massive jowls to scoop up every dog toy in the house and prance around. She even tries to play with the cat’s tiny toys!

After a rough, under-socialized start in a crate, Ivy has blossomed in her foster home. Because of her past, new people and new animals can still scare her. She needs a patient, loving family outside of the busy city who understands guardian breeds and will continue to show her the world isn’t a terrifying place.

This pouty beefcake Major is looking for his best friend! Major is the full package, super trainable, and always up for an adventure!

At 2–4 years old and 55 lbs of handsome wiggles, Major is confidence in a blocky-headed, goofy-grinned package. He is an absolutely incredible dog. 🫶

This perfect boy has graduated from board and train and his credentials include:
✅ Crate trained
✅ Potty trained
✅ Dog friendly (loves pups who can match his energy and play style)
✅ Cat friendly
✅ Kid friendly — he has not lived with kids but with dog savvy parents would be fine.

Major is a true best friend— hikes, long walks, car rides, adventures — he’s in for all of it. He would absolutely thrive with an active family or individual who wants a built-in adventure buddy. He responds beautifully to training and would thrive in a home committed to continuing.

If you want a playful, devoted best friend who will keep life exciting — and maybe occasionally pout at you until you give him attention — Major is your guy. 🙌

Daisy is still stuck at the shelter 💔. She needs a calm home to decompress after a year at the shelter. She may be ok with cats after slow introduction!

Bailey is available for adoption! This 7 yr old 60 lb cutie is the full package! Bailey is an adorable pittie, chowchow, foxhound, mutt mix and it shows! He’s truly one of a kind.

Do you want a dog that wants to hold hands every morning and loves to lay and watch TV? This quirky guy is for you!

After you earn his trust (chow chow) he’ll be your snuggly best friend (pittie) that’s always up for an adventure (foxhound).

With proper, slow intros Bailey would make an excellent fur sibling to your pup #! He doesn’t seem bothered by cats, and could do well with older respectful kids. Like we said, full package.

Sweet Cleo is looking for her forever! This baby is 7 months old and 20-25 lbs. She’s a sweet velcro girlie!

Cleo’s current foster has 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a bearded dragon— proving to be a little too busy for Cleo. She’d do well with a chill dog sibling and no cats. She does have some resource guarding with other dogs.

When she looks at you with those big brown eyes, you can’t help but melt! She loves all humans and is up to date on medical & spayed.

If you’re interested in fostering to adopt Cleo comment, DM, or apply at the link in our bio! 📋
