This nervous angel boy is Ollie!

He came to CARE for a consultation after an obstructed salivary gland caused swelling on the left side of his neck.

We were able to accommodate a same-day procedure to relieve the obstruction and remove the affected salivary gland tissue. Ollie was an absolute champ, even though he was a little nervous, and we all fell in love with him while taking care of him!
We’re so happy we could help this sweet boy feel more comfortable!

This sweet little 4-month-old baby angel is Lambeau - he came to us today with a right humeral condylar fracture.

In simple terms, a humeral condylar fracture is a break in the lower end of the upper front leg bone (the humerus), right where it forms part of the elbow joint.

Think of the elbow like a hinge. The humeral condyle is the rounded part of the humerus that helps the elbow bend and straighten. When this area fractures, the break usually extends into the joint itself, which makes it more serious than a simple bone break.

Dr. Kroner was able to repair Lambeau's fracture, and we can't wait to see him grow into a happy, healthy, fracture-free gentleman!

Otis came back to CARE for his 8-week TPLO recheck, and everything is looking great!

Meet Henry, our handsome Polar Bear look-alike!

Henry came to CARE for removal of a mass associated with one of his a**l glands. Because Henry has a significant cardiac condition, Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM), his anesthetic management required additional planning and specialized oversight.
We were grateful to partner with Observe to coordinate Board-Certified Veterinary Anesthesiologist oversight of Henry’s anesthetic plan and recovery. With careful planning, collaboration, and monitoring, Henry’s surgery went smoothly, and he is now on the path to healing!

Cases like Henry’s are a wonderful reminder of the importance of collaboration in veterinary medicine. We are incredibly grateful for partners like Observe who help our team provide an additional level of expertise and support for patients with complex medical needs.

We’re so happy to see this handsome boy on his way home to feeling better!

This adorable sweet girl came to us to evaluate a right pelvic limb lameness she’s been dealing with for six months.

To get to the bottom of it, we performed sedated orthopedic radiographs followed by an anesthetized knee joint arthroscopy, confirming a partial CCL tear was the culprit behind her longstanding lameness. Dr. Kroner was able to perform a TPLO repair during the exact same anesthetic event to get Hera right back on the road to being her goofy, energetic self!

This handsome Frenchie is fresh out of surgery and already mastering the art of looking adorable in his post-op gear. The cone may be giving him a little ruff attitude, but it’s all part of keeping his incision safe while he heals.

Meet Pretzel!

Pretzel came to CARE for an evaluation of upper respiratory symptoms and ear infections. After a thorough evaluation, Dr. Kroner performed a CT scan, which revealed significant inner ear infections in both of Pretzel’s ears.

Dr. Kroner performed bilateral myringotomies, a procedure in which the eardrum is carefully and cleanly punctured to allow the infected material to be removed and the ear to be treated.

Pretzel was prescribed pain medication and antibiotics to help manage the infection while we await confirmatory testing.

We’re wishing this sweet pup a smooth recovery and hoping for some good news from the lab!

Meet Carly, our gorgeous blonde girl!

After her initial consultation confirmed a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear with a meniscal injury, Carly was able to move forward with a same-day TPLO surgery. We’re so happy we could help get her on the road to recovery without the wait.

Providing timely, efficient care means pets can start healing sooner, and that’s something we’re proud to offer whenever possible. We’re wishing Carly a smooth recovery and can’t wait to see her back on all four paws doing what she loves!

This sweet girl is Phoebe!

Phoebe came to us for an abdominal exploratory procedure to remove a remnant of ovarian tissue left behind during her previous spay surgery. Her veterinarian performed a comprehensive workup, including hormonal testing, to support the clinical diagnosis of ovarian remnant syndrome.

Phoebe was a little loopy from her medications after surgery, but she was recovering well and getting lots of rest. We’re happy to help get her on the road to recovery and provide relief from the unwanted signs and symptoms associated with her heat cycles.

Wishing this sweet girl a smooth recovery and many happy, healthy years ahead!
