Meet Maverick, our little rockstar!

He came to CARE for his right TPLO after having his left TPLO with us back in December.

Maverick’s mom is incredibly dedicated to giving him the best quality of life possible, and we’re so grateful to play a small part in his journey. Helping dogs like Maverick get back to living happy, active lives with the people who love them is why we do what we do.

This angel is Winnie - she's here with us today for a TPLO repair, and boy is she the sweetest little girl! She is a bouncy, happy baby who has provided lots of snuggles to us. She fears nothing as long as she can give us kisses and gets some pets.

This suspicious boy is Bert - he came to CARE for a digit amputation for a digit amputation for a mass lesion on one of his little toesies. He's a senior fella who has been around the block, and seems to know when we are planning to do anything medical. He's such a good sport and lets us do anything we need to, provided he gets a whipped cream puppy cuppy and some snuggles. What a good boy!

This sweet boy is a professional snuggler who believes shoulders were made for resting his adorable head on. He had TPLO surgery at CARE, and despite his big day, he's quickly managed to wiggle his way into every single one of our hearts.

This handsome fella is Leo!

Leo is a returning patient who came to us today for a digit amputation and removal of a few masses. He’s no stranger to CARE. Leo previously had a thyroidectomy with us, and we’re so happy to be part of his care once again!

Here’s to getting Leo back on his feet and living his very best life!

Meet Cash.

This sweet, awkward little guy has absolutely no idea what to do in front of the camera... and honestly, that's part of his charm. As long as he gets plenty of pets and kisses, he's happy to cooperate!

Cash came to CARE for a mass removal in his groin area, and he's been the very best patient.

This 14.5-year-old perfect specimen is Cooper! He came to us today to have a large, ulcerated, infected mass removed from his left shoulder area.

Cooper is now free to move, nap, and enjoy all the snuggles with his mom without the burden of his mass getting in the way. We are so happy we could help this sweet senior feel more comfortable and enjoy the things he loves most.

Meet Mathilda!

Mathilda came to CARE for a TPLO procedure to help repair her injured knee, but that wasn’t the only way we were able to help her. Prior to anesthesia, we discussed concerns about her airway with her mom and suspected she may have an elongated soft palate. Once anesthetized, we confirmed the diagnosis and were able to perform a soft palate resection during the same procedure.

By addressing both her orthopedic injury and her obstructive airway condition, Mathilda left with two major improvements to her health and comfort. We’re so happy to have helped improve her quality of life—both today and for years to come!

This absolute angel is Cali! She’s here today for multiple mass removals, and because she has hypothyroidism, a heart murmur, and laryngeal paralysis, her anesthetic plan was carefully tailored to meet her specific needs.

Through our partnership with Observe, Dr. Jordan Nickell, a board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist, develops individualized anesthetic protocols for patients like Cali. This collaboration allows us to provide an extra layer of expertise for complex cases, helping maximize safety and comfort before, during, and after anesthesia.

We love being able to care for patients with more advanced medical needs and ensure that all of our furry family can safely receive the treatment they deserve.
