We do not accept animals without referrals and we do not rehome home animals. We prepare dogs that are referred to us to become adoptable pets for forever homes that are secured by the referring agency.

It has been a while since we asked for help with medical needs. We normally rescue out of SE Kentucky but today we are helping a local dog in need.

Creo began vomiting over the weekend. His dad brought him to the emergency vet and spent several thousand dollars - he had suspected obstruction with unknown item. Sometimes a dog can expel the item - Creo was not so lucky. The director got the call this morning - ‘can you help a local dog live? His dad left crying and can’t afford his lifesaving surgery.’ We have been so fortunate to have generous donors and supporters and even $5 towards his $2000 surgery will help. Please, if you are able to, make a donation to help us pay it forward and save Creo. We truly never know what medical emergency is going to hit us next.❤️‍🩹
