Foster BETSY needs your help 🙏
Betsy needs to move foster homes asap as she is not getting along with the larger dog in the home. Betsy is currently being fostered just outside of Roanoke, VA.
Betsy would do best in a home with yard space and without shared walls as she can be a barker when left alone. Betsy loves her humans and would be excellent as a solo dog. She is 3 years old and approximately 22 pounds.
Someone wanting to either adopt Betsy or foster her until she is adopted, please step forward now 🙏❗🙏
We are able to transport Betsy 8ish hours so please let us know if you are interested.
Betsy deserves a home where she can feel safe, and right now we don't have that home available for her.

Adoption Update: Cookie 🍪 💪

Nearly a year ago, Cookie was surrendered when she went down with IVDD and her family could no longer care for her rehab. After posting about Cookie in a "Welcome Post," Mama L reached out to foster her as she had experience with her own dachshund going down and receiving not 1 but 2 IVDD surgeries! Well, Cookie's time as a foster dog quickly became forever! 💜

Here's what her mom has to say about adopting Cookie:
"Cookie is now thriving! She’s a pro in her cart, loves chasing bunnies and sun spots, and is even rocking her nose-work classes 👃. We just love having her and she has brought so much joy to our lives. She’s our little muscle monster!"
They even recently had a special ramp installed in the backyard so Cookie can enjoy even more independence going from the house to the yard.

When will Sammy catch a break 😔 💛
He has been in foster care for wayyy too long! Sammy would love nothing more than to find his people. He was found as a stray in Miami and is so very ready to have a home of his own.
Sammy is a wire-haired dachshund around 11 years old. He does well with dogs who are not super active, calm, and his size. Sammy has some vision impairments, but he adapts very well. He is being fostered in Miami and we have the capability to offer transport to northern FL, GA, and SC. Get Sammy's story out there and let's find his family!!

Guess What?! Foster Rambo was neutered ✂️ and is now ready to find his Forever Family 🙌
Young Rambo is currently being fostered in Jax, FL. Please read his entire bio before submitting an application. Rambo was found as a stray and may need more time and patience to earn trust in his new home. He is good with other dogs and cats, but may not be the best companion for young children. We're sure this boy will find his way into someone's heart real soon!

Who's adopting this beautiful senior?? 🖤
Miss Snyder was held up in the shelter for months before being rescued! We're unsure of her age, but she's a senior gal at about 18 pounds. Snyder has been soaking up all of life's pleasures since her shelter break -- namely snacks and naps!

Snyder would do well in most home types, and she does well with dogs her own size, but not larger. Currently being fostered in Miami, Snyder is able to travel to the FL/GA line where she could meet her adopters.
