Let's find Prinz a home 🏡!
Prinz is ready for an adventure with you! Being an IVDD Warrior does not slow Prinz down. He loves hopping in his cart and going for rolls around town. Foster Mama L says: "He likes you to rock him to sleep and rub his chest." Come on 🥹!!!

His previous humans wanted to euthanize him when he went down with IVDD, but we know there's a family out there ready to meet Prinz where he is.

With guarding tendencies, a home with small children will not set Prinz up for success. Prinz requires bladder expression due to his IVDD, and he gets around great both in his drag bag and his cart. He can live with other small dogs, but not cats. He doesn't need a fenced yard. Prinz is vocal when left alone, so likely not suited for shared walls.

He is a sweet boy who is very deserving of a family to call his own. Is that family you??

Lil Bit would like to make her way just a 'lil bit' closer to adoption 🤎 😉
Currently being fostered in West Virginia, almost 3-year-old Lil Bit would love to find herself her very own family after her mama died. Lil Bit is a Doxie-Pom mix and the gentlest gal around. Lil Bit is good with all dogs. She has high energy, so be prepared for daily walks of 30+ minutes in addition to yard play time and mental stimulation/enrichment.
Lil Bit can travel a reasonable distance to her forever home 🏠.

Black beauty Pearl 🤍 is another one of the 7️⃣ Sweethearts up for adoption. Currently being fostered in North Carolina. Pearl hasn't had a lot of socialization and training, so she's still learning leash walking and potty training and would benefit from a fenced yard. At 6 years old, Pearl gets along well with other dogs and would love a calm doggo companion who can help her learn the ropes. Due to Pearl's insecurities, no small children in the house.

Adopt Nutmeg 🤎
Currently being fostered in Georgia, Nutmeg is a part of the 7️⃣ pups we took in earlier this month. At 8 years old, beautiful Nutmeg has not been the most socialized gal, so slow introductions would be best for her. She is used to being around dogs her own size. Having never been leash walked, Nutmeg will need a fenced in space for outdoors time while she learns the ropes of leash walking. Once Nutmeg feels safe and comfortable, she'll be your best little companion.
House training for Nutmeg is still a work in progress -- she is doing great on a strict schedule. Nutmeg is good in the car and is a candidate for transport that can be done in a single day.

There are so many ways you can be a part of our upcoming races 🙌
🏁 Be a SPECTATOR: want to laugh your heart out? Come watch some of the cutest pups try their best to go from point A to point B on their stumpy little legs
🏁 Be a RACER: got a pup you want to enter into the races? Puppy, Adult, Senior, Wheelie?? We've got all the options for your pup!
🏁 Enter a CONTEST: got a great costume idea? Think your dog is the longest, shortest, sniffiest? Sign up for a contest!
🏁 Be a VENDOR: we welcome food vendors for humans, as well as artisanal, craft, and dog supply vendors.

🚨 Milo Update 🚨
Milo is recovering from surgery and heading back to his foster home 🙏.
Thank you Village for your continued support, especially in times of crisis.
Thanks to Milo’s foster mama’s quick acting, he is recovering. This could very well have gone the other way 😔.
In surgery, the vet found a clot and a lot of blood loss in Milo’s abdomen. This could have been an unfortunate side effect from his recent neuter.
Milo is eating and drinking and out of immediate danger. We are awaiting results of liver and spleen biopsy to ensure nothing more serious is going on. Milo is happy to be back in his foster home, healing up ❤️‍🩹.
We paid $6200 for Milo’s emergency surgery. If you’d like to help us replenish our bank account, we’d greatly appreciate it.
