We chose to foster Socks because she is just the cutest thing ever, but we also thought she’d be adopted in the month that we had her. We can’t believe we were wrong. We had to make the very difficult decision to take her back to the rescue. The girls go back to school tomorrow, we go back to work in the office full time, and all the after school activities start in full force so we just won’t be able to give her the attention we want to give her and that she deserves.

Socks is such a good girl. Loves to snuggle, doesn’t shed, is silly, so soft, enjoys a walk, chews on a bone, rarely barks, loves people, and just an all around winner of a dog.

Socks would do well with any family - single person, family with kids, family with or without another dog, etc. She just wants to be loved, pet, and sleep in your bed at night.

A fun fact about Socks, she doesn’t shed. We pet Socks constantly and have not had one hair come off her body. She sleeps with my daughter and there is no hair in her bed. I can’t promise hair will never come off her body but we haven’t seen it at all.

Shes very easy to take care of. No shedding, loves walks, does her business on our walks (but not completely potty trained - we just take her out every 3- 4 hours or so), loves to snuggle, eats well, so incredibly soft, and is the cutest thing ever.

It’s hard to get a good shot of Socks because she’s as close to me as possible. In this picture I’m holding the camera up by my head. Her butt is in my lap and her paws are on my chest. She’s looking at me with her cute little eyes asking me to pet her. How can I not? It’s so hard to walk by her and not kiss and pet her. She will lay on a dog bed by herself if no one is petting her but that’s not often. I mean, she’s just so cute 🥰 Don’t you need this bundle of love in your life?

Socks found a new place to sleep. She’s queen of the hill!

Socks is such a sweet girl. She’s exploring the house more. She’s not fully potty trained but I would say she’s potty trained based on a schedule. As such, we are allowing her to explore a little more. She likes to chew on bones and will dig through the toy basket to find them. She’s still a #1 snuggler and will take pets over anything else.

She doesn’t like a kennel. We don’t leave her alone very often but when we do we just leave her in the house and she’s fine. We haven’t left her for more than 2 hours though.

She’s as sweet as can be. Please consider adopting this wonderful girl. Oh and she did great with the storms last night. They didn’t bother her at all.

She’s a good little walker until you tell her it’s time to go a different way than the way she wants and then she’ll just flop over on the ground 🤣. I just tell her we need to go and she’ll get up but I love how she’s showing more of her personality now.

Socks is so great! She at the perfect age (6) where she’s not a puppy but still had s***k, she’s the perfect size, and the perfect doggie to snuggle. She loves hanging out by you all day and then sleeping in your bed at night. She loves all people but especially her primary caregiver. She’s easy to walk but honestly doesn’t want to walk that far. Please consider adopting this bundle of love. She’ll shower you with love and kisses forever.
