Meet Nova — a 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with the sweetest soul and the BEST report card from foster 💛
• Spayed
• Microchipped
• Vaccinated
Nova is the kind of dog who makes herself right at home wherever she goes. She’s happy, affectionate, playful, and always smiling — and according to her foster mom (currently on foster dog #62!), Nova has officially earned the title of “easiest dog I’ve ever fostered.”
Here’s what we know about this amazing girl:
🐾 Loves people and enjoys being near her humans
🐾 Good with kids
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Comfortable in a crate, though she no longer needs one
🐾 Sleeps through the night
🐾 Not destructive
🐾 Obsessed with tennis balls, toys, and enrichment activities
🐾 Loves walks, sniffaris, and zooming around the yard
🐾 Would make an excellent running companion
🐾 High energy outdoors, but calm and relaxed in the house
🐾 Walks nicely on leash after she settles in — may start out pulling, but improves as the walk goes on
🐾 Redirects well if excited on leash
🐾 Very treat motivated and eager to learn
🐾 Doing well with multiple large breed dogs in foster
🐾 More of a “referee” than a wrestler when other dogs are playing 😄
🐾 Cats unknown
Nova absolutely LOVES chasing her ball — honestly, it may be her favorite thing in the world. She does need daily exercise and would thrive with a family who enjoys walks, runs, fetch, and outdoor adventures.
She’s also a fantastic work-from-home assistant, mostly by supervising meetings between naps and carrying toys in and out of the house all day long.
Nova is sweet, fun, easygoing, and so deserving of a forever family that will love her for the amazing dog she is.
She truly could fit into so many homes. Her foster (who will choose her best fit!) would especially love to see her with a fenced yard or a home in the country because she’s been loving the freedom!
This girl is an easy keeper!☺️
