There’s a level of confidence that comes with having a vet you truly trust. Ridgeview Veterinary Practice has been that for us since the very beginning—whether it’s routine care, seasonal vaccines, or something unexpected. Having a knowledgeable, steady presence on your team makes all the difference when it comes to keeping horses healthy and performing at their best.

Supporting local feed stores is something that really matters to me, and Bowman's Feed & Pet makes that an easy choice. They understand what horse people actually need—reliable access to quality feed, knowledgeable support, and a team that stands behind what they do. It’s more than convenience, it’s a partnership that helps keep the whole barn running.

We had a lovely trip to Fairhill this past weekend! This is such a wonderful venue with courses that really allow the horses to get into a good galloping rhythm and to really build confidence in both horse and rider. On top of that, they have some of the friendliest volunteers around.

There’s a big difference between tack that just “works” and tack that truly supports you. My Voltaire Design USA & Canada saddle has always been the latter. It allows me to stay balanced without fighting for position, and my horses move freely underneath me. When everything feels aligned like that, it changes the ride entirely—for both horse and rider.

The ABBF crew had a fabulous time at the Waredaca Horse Trials this past weekend! We are so lucky to have such a lovely place to ride and compete just down the road!

What we put into our horses matters just as much as the work we do with them. That’s why we’ve trusted Purina Horse Feed for so long—their formulas are backed by extensive research and built with a real understanding of how horses function from the inside out.

It gives me confidence knowing that every horse in the barn is getting consistent, thoughtfully developed nutrition to support both performance and overall health.

Opening a training facility means thinking about everything—lessons, rides, horses, students. But then there's all the stuff you don't expect: social media, websites, newsletters, event planning, business strategy.

That's where Mythic Landing Enterprises, LLC comes in. They handle the behind-the-scenes work so I can stay focused on what I do best—training horses and teaching riders. It's a partnership that keeps the barn running smoothly without pulling me away from the ring.

When you're putting horses through their paces—especially as we gear up for spring events—the quality of what goes in the bucket matters. Purina Horse consistency and nutrition science give me confidence that every horse is getting exactly what they need to perform and recover well.

Team ABBF had a lovely weekend at Loch Moy this past weekend. Even though the weather says it’s summer, we are still in early season for most of our horses' riders. This weekend shows a lot of promise for the season ahead!! Great job everyone!

My girls had some fun this weekend! Freyja really enjoyed getting to stretch her long legs out on XC. We are both loving that she is getting to be so much more rideable, so I can start to let her actually cover some ground out there! Lani just might be considering that maaaaaybe perhaps someday she will agree to consider jumping all the things the first time she is asked. She really has been so much fun, but SUCH a puzzle to produce. One step at a time with this beautiful girl!!
