Oh no!
We have just a little bit of canned dog food left and that’s it! No cat items at all.
If you’d like to contribute to the pantry, now is a great time. 😊

Hi friends! 🩵
Just a little Pantry update. Mom said we’re completely out of dry food and she’s putting the canned food we have left out there today. So supplies are low again. Reminder that my stickers are in there- grab one when you visit!

I also wanted to introduce a couple of my new friends. My family fosters puppies which means I get to have lots of new friends all the time. I love it!
The freckled pup is Shrimpy and he’s available for adoption now. He asked me to help him find his family, I’ve been looking but we haven’t found them yet. 🧡
The black pup is Duchess. She’s very scared. I’m trying to be her very best friend and show her all the best spots in the backyard but she’s too nervous to explore with me. She will be available soon, she needs more time with us to learn that she’s loved and safe. 🖤

🐾 HELLO, EVERYONE! Dwight Handsome here, Chief Pantry Inspector and Official Good-Looking Guy. 🐾

Mom did something really fun today, BUT FIRST… BUSINESS.

After my midday nap and snackies break, I helped Mom inspect the pantry and get it restocked. And I have some important information to report:

🚨 We are completely OUT of dry food for both the kitties AND the doggies. 🚨

Mom says she’s noticed that the dry food disappears much faster than the canned food. I’m not sure why. 🤔

Personally, I enjoy a delectable dollop of delicious wet food with my kibble, because I believe in having the finer things in life. But apparently not everyone agrees with my sophisticated dining preferences. 🎩

So, if you’d like to help stock the pantry, dry food would be especially helpful right now! 🐶🐱❤️

NOW… ON TO THE FUN STUFF. 😍

Mom made ME A STICKER.

Because obviously. I mean… look at me. 😌

She’s going to put some in the pantry so all of our friends can have one! I know I am very handsome—Mom tells me approximately 47 times a day—but I have been asked to remind everyone:

The pantry has lots of friends so we want to make sure there are enough stickers for everyone. ❤️

Mom walked outside, on her way to work, and said a generous neighbor had dropped this overflow on the porch for the pantry. Thank you, neighbor! Mom brought it inside and I will make sure she puts it out there when space opens up.

Please see the UPDATE.
It appears that our little Pantry is being abused, we are taking steps to stop that. There will now be a camera directly on the pantry, and you will be recorded. If this deters anyone from using it that needs it, I apologize. But today it was emptied in a very short timeframe, and that’s not okay.
📍 If you are taking items from the Pantry to use/give to a rescue- please stop.
📍 If you are greedy and taking way more from the Pantry than your household needs, please stop.
If you are participating in either of these activities, you are taking away from families that actually NEED the Pantry. Just be a good neighbor, that’s all.

We have more items to put inside but are waiting for the camera to be situated. If you desperately need food and can’t wait until tomorrow, just message us. We are more than happy to run something out to you so your dog or cat can eat. 🩵

EMPTY.
And, really, has been for a while.. excepting a few cans here and there. I’ve seen people stop twice this week, only to walk away empty handed.
I hate that.
I know we can’t always be stocked full, but I hate thinking that someone’s fur baby maybe went to sleep hungry. 😔
If you’re able to stop by over this holiday weekend and drop some items for the Pantry, your neighbors would greatly appreciate it!

We checked the Pantry today, after my vet appointment. Yep, mom was right, almost empty again!
Also, no pumpkin spice lattes in there. We triple checked. 🧡

The Pantry is bare again! 😔
I didn’t get a picture of the inside, instead I give you pics of Dwight, Lucy, and our foster pup Shrimpy enjoying the not as hot weather yesterday- Maggie was still inside taking a nap.
Hope all your pups got to enjoy some time outside before the heat takes over again. Fall can’t come soon enough! 🥵

A different request… 🩵

We need some help with sign holders for the Pantry!

The magnetic “weatherproof” document holders we had on the Pantry did NOT hold up to Monday’s storm. Apparently, “weatherproof” and Oklahoma weather have very different definitions. 😂🌧️

For now, I have the signs tucked into page protectors and will use tape to attach them to the Pantry. Obviously, that’s not a long-term solution with fall weather approaching.

Chat suggested some actual weather-resistant holders… and they’re $64. 😳

And while we’d LOVE to have them, we’re currently paying off Dwight’s double knee surgeries AND he needs another Cytopoint injection. So if someone would like to donate some weatherproof sign holders to the Pantry, we would be incredibly grateful! 🩵

If not, no worries—we’ll keep trucking along with our fancy taped-up page protectors until they surrender. 😂

And because every post needs a little Dwight and Shrimpy ( our foster pup) cuteness… 🥰🐾

WOW!
We definitely should have started the Amazon Wishlist thing much sooner… y’all are keepin the pantry stocked to the brim!
Which is wonderful, because no joke, I fill it in the morning and when I check on it in the afternoon it’s nearly empty again, every day.
