Although we have had Jeff for a few weeks, I have not made his official welcoming announcement.
Jeff came from the streets by way of a true Good Samaritan rescue situation. The rescuer took him to be tested for FeLV/FIV and also his rabies vaccine. When Jeff arrived, we treated him for fleas and then dewormed him. He will be neutered this month.
For such a rough start, Jeff is a very loving kitty. He is approximately 4-5 months old and has the fun "cow cat" (or "moo-cat") black and white pattern.
Come say hi to Jeff and the rest of our adoptable kitties.
Today is Terrific Tabby Tuesday!
Half price admission and concessions!
We are open 6-8pm tonight.

Biscuit and I were having a discussion the other day:
Biscuit: Why you put me in the room with all those floofs?
Me: Because you are a floof, er a cat.
Biscuit: I not a cat. I a hooman.
Me: Oh, really? So you wouldn't mind wearing a costume? That is what people like to do this time of year.
Biscuit: I not mind. But, do I get a treat if I put it on?
Me: Of course, Biscuit.
(Biscuit also wanted me to let you know we will have free Kit Kat bars for everyone this month!)

As The Chat - A Cat Cafe approaches our 1-year anniversary, I want to thank everyone who has helped make this possible!
Paying admission into the Cat Lounge.
Celebrating a birthday party or other special events with us.
Purchasing a Cat Tribute Dish for our Wall of aPURRciation.
Buying concession and gift shop items.
Donating money, catfood, cat litter and other cat items.
And following us on Facebook and helping us get the word out.
I am extremely grateful!
We are nearing 50 adoptions since we have opened, which I feel is a wonderful outcome for a brand new rescue. And we hope to continue finding even more great homes for all our cats.
While my husband and I are on a vacation this week, I look for any and all cat opportunities available (like any normal cat-lover, right?) Across the street from our guest house were several cats. I am not sure if they were owned or strays. But for sure, we were going to the store for some catfood!

Happy Terrific Tabby Tuesday! Half price admission into our Cat Lounge and concessions!
I thought this was a sweet picture of Dolly Parton with an orange tabby kitten. Does anybody know if she had a pet cat or cats? Or other pets?
We are open tonight from 6-8pm.
