It was a long night with Alena and the new babies. First-time mom a large litter trying to figure out everything. Unfortunately the very litte girl didn't make it.
Good news is Carrot and Elderberry in Tallulahs litter found furever homes last night. And Zucchini has a couple of serious. inquiries so hopefully he will have his new family today. That would just leave Strawberry. She has had a few inquiries as well.

Well for my Bithday I got a couple scarry moments , and a suprise. Steph put the dogs out when she got here this morning. Then went about doing what needed to be done. After lunch she went out to bring everyone in and get them fed before she had to leave to go to work. Next thing I know she comes running in the door in a panic that thier are puppies in the kennel. I panic not thinking and jump to my feet. In turn my foot said I don't think so. So im trying to tell her where dog towels are so she can wrap up the puppies and get them in the house. All in all I pretty sure I didn't mess up my foot and Mom ho was mot due until Sat. delivered 10 puppies. Now to monitor every one and make sure thoes that were born outside do OK. Espesaly since it was cool and windy today.
WILL NOT BE TAKING NAMES FOR THIS LITTER FOR PROBABLY 3 WEEKS. Sice a larg e litter ans ome of the puppies are small and some were born outside I will be monitoring this litter for a while until im good and sure all is good with everyone.
