Pinwheel acres raise Springer Spaniels

09/19/2026

Thought I would update you on the future of Pinwheel Acres.
I am making progress be it slow.
I have decided i will atleast for now keeping back a couple dogs and seeing if I can do a couple litters a year.
But my main focus going forward will be working on sewing for the dogs. Making collars and bandannas. And posible upcycle clothing for people. This will be slow to start as I still can't stand for long periods at a time. As I get things made they will be posed here for now.
Thank you to all who have gotten my babies and given them great homes in the past.

She has found her her new 🏡.

Smudge is looking for place new place to call 🏡. She will be 1year on the 12 of this month. Things fell thru with the other place she was going to. She likes other dogs and kids. She is a sweet and silly girl. Full Registration possible. She was just in heat a couple weeks ago. Crate trained. Will most likely need a refresher in potty training due to her not having much house time since my injury. Pick up only. BRODHEAD WI.

It is with heavy heart I will be downsizing and eventually closing my kennel. The Injury to my foot will be making keeping up with them difficult it is not fair to them.

Please do not ask who I will be placing. This is a difficult decision. As I make decisions they will be posed here.

I will greatly miss them all. After close to 40 years of breeding this beloved breed they will truly be missed.

Not taking any more names for waiting list until i get thru thoes that are already on it.

Those of you on the wating list for my next litter. I will be getting pictures hopefully mid to late week next week and then be on contact. Have Merle in liver and blue still deciding who is roan. A couple of regular livers as well. This is a non AKC LITTER. They are springers. The merle color showed up in a springer litter down south over 20 years ago. Her and a couple of her springer breeder friends have been working with the color over the years. It is a stunning color and I am delighted to finally have a litter of my own.
DO NOT POST ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON THIS COLOR. YOU WILL BE BLOCKED

I AM RETHINKING HIS REHOMING. SO MAY NOT BE PLACING HIM

In about a week or so Packer will be looling for his retirement home. With me being side lined and him not being out like he is used to he is not happy. That is not fair to him. He will need his vacations and nutered. Loves kids. Will.need a refresher in house training most likely.
