Sometimes training chickens to go back to the coop in their initial month is challenging. This time, the e got all fliers. Everyone likes to fly 🤷🏾‍♀️

Kids summer holidays …beautiful day and drive to Seventh Heaven farm to meet Kevin and berries picking. Not much blueberries 🫐 will head back when there are black berries, and we picked up some cabbages and broccoli to go in out harvest share boxes. So our members can taste the season. Kevin has a beautiful farm, so peaceful and crops with orchards.

Not just veggies gardens, I plant sorrel, lemon grass, chilis, balloon vine, Malabar spinach and more n my landscape. They are pretty and healthy. Folks who do container gardens, yes you can grow lot more.

Sometimes we can plant 2 in each sometimes it does fine with 1 plant with enough spacing between. Can take the lessons for nature and little of experiment and luck.

Living soil. Last year’s lemon grass bush was cut down and over the winter it dies and the tops just separates and the roots adds back the soil structure.
