Starting Tuesday, January 12th at 5:30 PM we have a beginner Scent Fun class with Sean McMurray! I see many dogs who have little to no hind end awarness and we work on items like this to increase core strength and hind end awareness before teaching some behaviors like backing onto higher objects.

Did you know that elevating a dogs forelimbs increases the weight on the hindlimbs? With a low level height, such as in the photo below on the K9 Kore Disk, the dog will increase the weight on the hindlimbs safely. This is a nice exercise to do with dogs with hindlimb weaknesses due to cruciate disease, canine hip dysplasia, neurological weaknesses, osteoarthritis, and general weaknesses.
