Hello Everyone! Most of you have heard that Paws & Claws has changed hands. I've been remiss in not getting something on here sooner.

Melissa and Drew Freeman are now in charge here. They will be great new owners! Melissa grew up raising dogs with her family, and loves them as much as we do! Please join us in welcoming them to the business. All current reservations have been transferred to their calendars, so no worries there.

Melissa's number is 530-693-5095. I will continue to answer my phone whenever a former customer calls with any questions or concerns.

Kirk and I will be moving to Sioux Falls next month. To say we'll miss this place is an understatement, but its time to move forward. I'm grateful for the success you all helped us achieve with this business!

Hi Everyone. What an awesome fall it has been this year!

We are fully booked, with a wait list, for Thanksgiving week from the 22nd thru the 26th. Some kennels are available on the 27th.

We will be closing the kennel this coming spring from April 3rd thru April 11th. We'll open back up on Friday, April 12th.

Good Morning everyone. I've been having some trouble with my right shoulder and elbow recently. I had an MRI this week, and it showed some tears and other problems. For this reason, I will no longer be doing any grooming.

I recommend you contact Angie Hannasch at Bark Club Pet Grooming. Her number is 605-470-0137. She grooms here at Paws & Claws, and also has a traveling pet grooming trailer.

Hello everyone. What a beautiful day! I'm hoping the last snow from December will fall off our evergreens today.

It's an exciting week keeping up with this year's Super Bowl happenings. We will be busy watching the game this Sunday, so all dogs must be picked up 5:00 pm. Thanks a bunch!

Hello! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas despite the weather. We appreciate your business so much, and look forward to seeing all of your dogs (and you) in the New Year!!

Due to quickly increasing costs, we will be raising our boarding prices by $2.00 per night beginning in January. We were hoping to avoid this, but our expenses are telling us a different story.

Hello Everyone! Hope you've all been having a great summer. We've been enjoying a very busy summer here at the kennel. Thank-you all for going someplace!

All of the dogs have been enjoying the new dog yard that we added last fall. Lots of roughhousing, hole digging, and fetching has been going on there!

We will be vacationing for a few weeks this month, but the kennel is staying open this year! My niece and sister will be keeping things running.

Beginning October 1st our boarding fees will be going up $3.00 per night to $25.00 for a multiple night stay and $30.00 for a single night's stay.

Thank you all for your business! We can't believe its been almost 6 years.
