TECH WEEK THURSDAY🌺
What's that you say?? Do we have anybody currently in training to be an LVT??
Why yes we do!! I am so glad you asked so I can gush about them too.
If you have ever had to be in school while also working, you know how taxing that can be. But these little rays of sunshine come in and give their everything while they are learning the skills to be able to help even more animals. Through online classes and hands on externships, they absorb an enormous amount of information while in school. These lovely ladies have more than enough hearts and smarts to finish strong--Can't wait to see you both achieve your goals!! We are all rooting you on!!🥰🐾🌺😍

CONTINUING CELEBRATING TECH WEEK!!

Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) undergo rigorous academic, clinical, and practical training that makes them the equivalent of Registered Nurses (RNs) in the veterinary field. They are formally educated in the science and clinical nursing care of animals.

We have 4 LVTs here at Ohana, and to know them is to love them. If you asked me to pick a favorite, I could not. Their knowledge, hearts and character are second to none. All they want to do is help every animal to live the best life they possibly can for as long as they can and to feel the most love possible in their too short time with us before they go over the Rainbow Bridge. See below for the beautiful faces of these amazing women. So thank a technician today if you see one, they are angels on Earth.

Isn't this the cutest pasta you've ever seen??!!
This is Rotini!! She is a 3 month old Cavapoo, which is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mixed with a poodle. Cavapoos are some of the cutest, sweetest little buddies you will ever meet and Rotini fits that to a T!! Love me some puppy pasta.

This is Miss Dorothy Gale, but known affectionately to her friends and ohana as "Dottie." A 3 1/2 year old Shih-Tzu, her spunky personality matches up perfectly with that pom pom tail and curly tongue. May her tail always wag and her snuggles always be plentiful!
