September may have only brought us two weeks of boarding, but those two weeks were certainly full of happy chirps, silly squawks, and lots of feathered fun! 🐦❤️
We had the pleasure of welcoming Thor, a new birdy guest who stayed with us while his dad traveled to Spain. It was so nice getting to know him! We also got to spend time with some familiar faces—King Bob and Sqweaky, who are regulars here, along with Scooter, Aris, and Kali. All such sweethearts! 😊

It’s hard to believe we’re already feeling a little more chill in the air, the leaves are starting to fall, and the seasons are changing. 🍂 There’s just something special about this time of year—the cooler mornings, colorful leaves, cozy evenings, and knowing that the holidays aren’t too far away. Fall always seems to bring a little extra coziness to our home.

Of course, our bird room stays lively no matter what season it is! There’s always music playing, chirps and squawks filling the room, and plenty of personalities keeping me smiling. 🎶🐦

I’m so thankful for every birdy guest who comes through our door and for the families who trust me to care for their feathered family members. Each one leaves a little piece of themselves behind, and I feel so lucky to get to do what I love every day. ❤️

August was pretty busy, considering our first guest didn’t arrive until August 14th since we took a little vacation of our own for a family reunion.

I just love how playful all the birds that stayed with us were this month! There was lots of shoulder and cuddle time, TONS OF DANCE PARTIES, plenty of tricks for treats, and of course, treats just because—not everyone who comes to stay is a trickster! 😂

I’m always so thankful for every birdy guest who fills our home with happy chirps, silly squawks, and their own unique personalities. Each one brings something special, and I truly love getting to spend time with them. 🐦❤️

July was filled with both new and returning birdy guests, making for another wonderful month! There were plenty of dance parties, singing contests galore, and lots of happy chirps. 🎶🐦 I always have music playing in the bird room, and we all enjoy it. After all, music is good for the mind, body, and soul.

Summer has truly been shining on our home, filling it with wonderful feathered guests who bring so much joy and laughter every single day. Watching new birds settle in and seeing familiar faces return always reminds me how lucky I am to do what I love.

Thank you to all of my amazing customers for trusting me with your feathered family members. Your support means the world to me, and I feel incredibly blessed to care for these special little souls. 💛🦜

June was full of some very special feathered guests! Our sweet senior Sidney spent part of May and June with us, along with Kii Kii and Twe Twe — such wonderful birdy guests to have around. At one point, we had 13 birds here, and while I’m always a little sad when my birdy guests head home, I love knowing I’ll see them again for their next vacation with me 🐦💛

We also just completed our 4th year in business, and I truly couldn’t be happier with what we’ve built together. This milestone isn’t just about my business — it’s a celebration of all of you who trust me with your feathered family members.

Thank you for your continued support, trust, and for allowing me to do what I love every day. I feel incredibly blessed 🥰🦜

May was a month full of vacations, which meant lots of longer stays keeping me busy with my favorite game… rotate the birds for playtime! 🐦 Everyone loves their special time out, and it’s always fun seeing their personalities shine.

We had lots of travelers heading out on international trips and cruises. One of my favorite things is hearing from those who don’t always have phone service while away, but are so appreciative when they reconnect and catch up on the morning updates I send. Those little moments mean so much.

I know I say it often, but I truly love this job and feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to care for all my winged pals. Thank you for trusting me with your feathered family members — it means more than you know 💛🦜

April was filled with lots of short visits and one very sweet goodbye to Chappy 💛 Sadly, her owner had to move and wasn’t able to keep her, but thankfully Chappy found a wonderful new family. She is such a special little birdy and will truly be missed around here.

As always, I’m so grateful for every bird that comes through my doors and for the trust their families place in me. Here’s to more sunshine, a little more normalcy, and all the sweet moments this spring season brings 🐦✨

March was full of repeat birds, which I just love — they’re so comfortable right away compared to new arrivals who may take a little time to warm up to a new environment. The year really feels like it’s going by so fast… as they say, time flies when you’re having fun, and I have a lot of that!

I’m so grateful for every birdy visit this month and for the continued trust from so many returning families. It truly makes what I do so special 💛🐦

February started off just as busy as January but ended on a much calmer note. Having a few days off here and there was so nice — quality time with my husband and our household pets was exactly what I needed to reenergize for the weeks to come.

I’m especially grateful that everyone was able to come and go safely with all the snow that just wouldn’t relent in those freezing temperatures. It feels so good to finally be thawed out, and you can almost feel spring trying to break through.

Grateful for the busy moments, the quiet ones, and everything in between. Here’s to welcoming a fresh new season ahead 💛🐦

January was busier than usual — what a great way to kick off the year! Even a couple feet of snow didn’t stop our amazing customers, though it did slow things down just a bit. I know I say this every month, but I’m always so grateful for the happiness this job brings me and my customers. Thank you for such a wonderful start to the year! 💛🐦
