I'm a certified canine nutritionist and I own Black Dog Barkery, along with my adorable taste tasters, Sparky and Tippi. It all started in August of 2014 with the addition of a new family member, Sparky. We knew Sparky would bring new adventures (and challenges) to our lives, but we had no idea what was really in store for us. After a ton of mind numbing, exhaustive research, a love for baking, an

d a love for furbabies, a hobby turned into SO MUCH MORE! Black Dog Barkery was established in January 2015. We started with word of mouth advertising from our wonderful friends and family and social media. In the spring of 2015 we occupied a regular space at the State Street Farmer's Market in beautiful Bristol, TN
We also participated as a vendor at many local craft fairs, pop up markets and fund raising events and were also located inside of Mercantile on State in Bristol, TN. We now proudly operate a brick and mortar store on Volunteer Parkway in Bristol, TN
We pride ourselves on fresh baked gourmet dog treats using carefully selected, organic, human grade ingredients. We have formulated our own recipes using only the finest ingredients and added LOVE for pooches with a refined palette. Our treats contain no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. of Agriculture and we're also peanut/tree nut free! We carry a full line of raw frozen food, toys, apparel, spa products and more. We are an authorized dealer of West Paw Products which are proudly made in the USA. We also do custom gift baskets, puppy showers, birthday parties and more!

Bella is a 9-year-old Chihuahua who has retired from all forms of physical activity (except the walk from the couch to the food bowl).

She spends her days cuddling and watching TV, and we like to think she has opinions about the plot.

Add in puppy eyes that could talk her out of a speeding ticket, and it's easy to see why she's everyone's favorite couch companion.

Small dogs have the same instinct to chew as big ones... they just need the right size chews!

Tucker's raw frozen bones for toy breeds are sized for little jaws and made with real raw bone (which is safer and more digestible than cooked bones).

Chewing does a lot for dental health and mental stimulation, which matters especially for dogs that spend most of their time inside. We keep these in stock at the Barkery.

She follows her family from room to room, whether that's out of loyalty or just not wanting to miss anything is anyone's guess.

Sadie's a Great Dane who spends her ideal Tuesday watching cartoons with a well-loved Lamb Chop stuffie and a Whimzees bone she treats like a five-course meal.

Whether she actually thinks she's a lap dog is unclear, but she's never once acted like she isn't one. She's got the kind of heart that turns a bad day around just by being in the room.
