Meet Tiny, the brave little fighter who’s been through a lot and is now on the mend!

Just yesterday, Tiny underwent surgery for pyometra and spent the night with us, wrapped in cozy blankets and warm socks. Despite feeling a little drowsy, she’s been such a trooper! Her resilience, along with the incredible care from our team, has helped her through this difficult time.

Pyometra is a serious, life-threatening infection of the uterus that we see in both cats and dogs every single week. The good news? It’s preventable through spaying.
If you’d like to learn more about pyometra, you can read about it on our blog: https://elkharthumanesociety.org/pyometra-the-emergency-that-starts-with-something-we-can-prevent/

If you’d like to have your animal spayed or neutered, give us a call at 574-475-4732 or make an appointment online: https://elkharthumanesociety.org/vet-care-services/

Keep fighting, Tiny! 🐾❤️

Last week, two handsome boys came into our clinic for neutering, and we couldn’t resist sharing their sweet personalities with you. 💕

🥭 Mango is a vibrant little ray of sunshine with a zest for life! He’s bright but a little shy, and always ready for some serious snuggles with his furry friend.

🐾 Panther, on the other hand, is a big, handsome gentleman with a bit more of a… moody personality. But underneath that cool exterior is a sweet, shy boy who still loves getting plenty of snuggles from his brother.

These two may have very different personalities, but their bond is absolutely precious. Watching Panther soak up those brotherly snuggles was enough to melt our hearts. 🥹💕
