And just like that, our 2026 puppy season has officially come to an end!
We want to say a huge thank you to every family who chose a Glacial Lakes Wirehair puppy this year. Watching each puppy leave is always bittersweet, but knowing they’re going to families who are excited to love them, hunt alongside them, and make them part of their lives makes it all worth it.
This year, our Gem x Gav and Gray x Gav puppies found homes all across the country. Many stayed close to us here in South Dakota or headed to Minnesota, while others made their way to North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Nebraska, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Texas, New Mexico, and California!
It means so much to us to see puppies raised right here on our farm in northeastern South Dakota become family companions and hunting partners in homes across so many different states. We truly appreciate every person who trusted our program and chose one of our puppies.
To all of our 2026 puppy families — thank you for becoming part of the Glacial Lakes Wirehairs family. We absolutely love getting your pictures, hunting updates, and stories as these puppies grow, so please keep them coming!
And if you’ve welcomed one of our puppies into your family, we would greatly appreciate you taking a moment to leave our page a review and share your experience with others.
And for those hoping to welcome a Glacial Lakes Wirehair of their own, keep an eye on our page — we’re planning our next litters for Spring 2027!
Here’s to another wonderful year of Glacial Lakes Wirehairs!
