Anyone that’s been to Kali’s Cottage recently knows that we have a new kids little free library in the front yard (partly built by Matt and partly built by a local carpenter!). I added this kitty decal to the side today and I love how it ties both my love of pets and books together. If you are in the area or visiting us to board your pet, we would love to have you take a few books home for the kid(s) in your life! 🐱📖

Said goodbye to our Ruby (Ru Ru) today, after believing she would outlive us all. The first photo shows she was already a greying old lady when we adopted her 9(!) years ago. She was found wandering the streets of Providence as a ball of mats and needed to be shaved down. Drawing comfort from hoping that she is curled up somewhere in a cozy sweater with perfect vision again 💜

We are booking for wedding season! Want your dog to be part of your wedding? Franklin was extra dapper in his tux for his owners’ ceremony last summer.

While your dog is boarding with us over your wedding weekend, we offer full service care for them during their time at the wedding venue, including transportation to and from our home. Or opt for transportation only, with drop-off at the venue for photos or to walk down the aisle during the ceremony, and pick-up afterwards to go back to our home until their boarding stay is over. Servicing within 20 miles of Bristol, we have helped include dogs in their owners’ special day at Mount Hope Farm, Herreshoff Marine Museum, and C**t State Park in past years.
