Felisha was hired after our mom passed so sadly she never got to meet Donna but you’d never know that when talking to her. She’s been at Digger’s for over 4 years and she has heard so many Donna stories that she sometimes she tells us one we haven’t heard. Felisha is a kind and caring human who our mom would have loved. After seeing how much she loves dogs and our family, it was a no brainer that we’d all be great friends 🩷

Fun fact, Felisha is the same age that our mom was when she started her business and she plans to have her kids work at the shop just like Chuck and I did for many many years. We are so excited for her and her family and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes with her own space and brand. We know she will do everything she can to take care of your furry family members just as Donna did for all these years. I heard she is even planning on having the “Donna special” on the list of haircuts. Our mom was pretty well known for liking a super short haircut on every dog 🤣

Felisha's new shop, Luxe Paws, is located only a block away from Digger Dog’s at 97 Wood St and you can call or text 267.724.8777 to set up an appointment.

For all of you asking about Tom, our beloved bather, Donna's bestie for her whole life, the heart and soul of Digger's these last 5 years, the best godfather a girl could ask for, and an overall amazing human, he will be with Felisha at Luxe Paws so be sure to say hi!

We hope you will continue to support our grooming family by visiting their shops. And again we thank you for all the love and support, phone calls, texts, visits, it has meant so much to us. We love you all and are so incredibly thankful we had you and your amazing dogs to help us through these last 5 years.

To our Digger Dog’s family: Saturday will be our last day and we are filled with all kinds of emotions. While this chapter may be ended for us, new chapters are now being written and our hopes are that you will continue to help our mom’s legacy go on. We want to highlight 2 of our groomers that are now moving on to their own grooming shops. Our mom would have been so happy for them and we are too!

Nicole and I go way back. We started bathing at All God’s Creatures back in the late 80s. Loretta, the owner of All God’s Creatures is the one who taught all of us originals how to groom, including my mom.

We are so happy and proud of Nicole for taking this huge step in her career and we hope you all will help her to be the success we know she will be. We love you, Nicole Magyar, and we are so incredibly excited for this next chapter for you.

Hi everyone!!! People keep asking us if we are closed already but we will remain open until December 20 and would love to see everyone one more time!! Spread the word an thank you all for all the love and support we have been getting at such an emotional time. 🩷❤️🧡

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we bring you this news. After 32 years of being a part of your furry family members lives, Digger Dogs is closing its doors for good at the end of December 2025. When our mom passed away in 2021 we didn’t think the shop would last much longer without her. But you all showed up and supported our family and staff and kept it going through all the bumps and hiccups. We couldn’t be more thankful, but now the time has come to say goodbye. We know that isn’t going to be easy on our furry friends so we wanted to give it as much effort as possible to try to stay open, but it wasn’t meant to be.

We know how important Digger's has been to all our furry friends and human friends as well. Our mom, Donna, built this amazing little community within her shop and we know what a giant absence there will be without it. This is why we wanted to wait until we knew for sure that our last ditch efforts were not panning out before we let everyone know, we hope you understand. This wasn’t an easy decision or one made lightly, it’s breaking our hearts all over again too so we understand.

We would like to let everyone know that we will be shutting down online booking as of today, but we will still be booking by phone for appointments up to December 23. We hope to see you one last time, so please get your appointments booked. Two of our groomers , Nicole and Felisha, will be available to take appointments at their new places, we will have more information about that soon and we will keep you posted on how to book with them for the future.

Thank you all again for all the love and support you’ve shown to our family and business over the years. Our mom loved you all and your dogs even more ❤️❤️
