I have struggled hard with hatch rates & fertility in the Araucana this spring. I’ve hatched ✨two✨ chicks in the last 6 months.

I’ve set and tossed so many eggs. At one point, I just stopped setting them.

I guess I just needed to let them go broody because THIRTEEN out of these two dozen are growing 😳

Spring 2025 hatch. Great type, perfectly tight wings, very dark eyes, good feet. She’s been with my mottled boy making splits. Broody and molting like everyone else.
