Welcome to Dandy Dogs page where we will share tips for raising well-socialized and well-mannered dogs. Beginning with puppy classes at 8 weeks of age to adult or senior dog classes, help your pet become the companion you desire and a lifelong member or your family. Our mission is to educate and support dog owners while they train dogs keeping them in forever homes and to create well-soci

alized and happy canine companions for life. Liz Baumgartner, owner of Dandy Dogs and head trainer, has been training and handling search and rescue dogs since 1998. She has been deployed to many searches not only in Utah, but also most of the surrounding states. She is a 2014 graduate of Animal Behavior College and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainiers. She is an evaluator for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen. As a shelter volunteer in Brigham City, Liz understands the tremendous need to train dogs at an early age so that owners can not only enjoy the cute puppy stage of a dogs life, but also endure the adolescent months when most unruly dogs end up abandonned. Bad behaviors must not be allowed to begin in dogs. It's much easier to prevent bad behaviors that resolve them. We begin with off leash puppy classes (1 and 2). Here we solve puppy issues and train good behaviors. The classes are fun and fast paced. On-leash adult classes are available also to restructure owner handling skills and resolve unwanted behaviors.

Don't miss out on the last session of the school year! Dandy Dogs starts new classes beginning TUESDAY, APRIL 1ST! Classes cost $120.00 for 6 1-hour classes taught once a week. Here are the classes offered:

STAR PUPPY APRIL 1ST AT 6:00 P.M. This class is for puppies under one-year of age. The American Kennel Club promotes this class, but puppies do not need to be purebred to achiever their certificate from the AKC.

GOOD DOG FOUNDATION APRIL 1ST AT 7:P.M. This class is for friendly dogs of all ages. Puppies under one year attending this class are also eligible to receive the STAR certificate from the AKC.

BASIC OBEDIENCE CUES, PROBLEM SOLVING, AND FOCUS WORK are all covered in these fun classes taught in the heart of Brigham City. Message me here, call or text 801 699-6609 or email me at [email protected].

There's a class for that, too. Check out the classes offered beginning on January 14th. The 6 p.m. class is for puppies under 1 year of age. Dogs of all ages are invited to the 7 p.m. class. Don't wait, because classes are limited to 6 dogs each
