An equine veterinary practice focused on the specific needs of the equine athlete. Dr. Mark Baus founded Grand Prix Equine in August, 2009.

Grand Prix Equine is a veterinary practice providing focused care for the performance horse. His practice offers superior care through a full range of services performed at the stable and outstanding customer service to the owner & trainer. Doctors Kremberg, Abell, and Rothacker have joined the practice alongside Dr. Baus as owners as well as our associate doctors Bubulka, Batterton, and Zitzmann.

Representing a new vision in the practice of equine veterinary medicine, our services begin at the time of purchase and continue throughout the horse’s rigorous and mobile life on the show circuit. Our doctors are strategically located to serve clients in Connecticut, Southwestern Massachusetts, the New York metropolitan region, Long Island, and Wellington.

Grand Prix Equine is seeking a full-time, in-office Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. We are a privately owned equine veterinary practice located in Newtown, CT.

The schedule is 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Candidates should possess strong computer skills, horse knowledge, excellent customer service, and be detail oriented with a positive attitude. Dependability is a must.

Responsibilities include answering phones, client service, sending medical records, collecting payments, and pharmacy assistance when needed.

Job qualifications include a high school diploma and 12+ months of related experience. We are looking for a team player who is open to learning, is respectful, and outgoing.

Full-time benefits package available.
