May is Mental Health Awareness Month

The veterinary field is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be emotionally and mentally exhausting. Veterinary professionals experience some of the highest rates of burnout, compassion fatigue, and su***de among healthcare workers. Behind every appointment, emergency, phone call, and long day is a team of people doing their very best to care for both pets and the people who love them.
This month, we want to spread a little extra kindness and appreciation to our team.

Throughout May, we will have “Staff Shoutout” cards available at the front desk. If a staff member made your visit a little easier, brought you comfort, made you smile, or helped your pet in a special way, we encourage you to fill one out and hand it to them.

Small acts of kindness and words of encouragement truly mean more than you know. Thank you for supporting our team and helping us create a culture of compassion — for our patients, clients, and each other.

And that’s a wrap to Veterinary Receptionist Week, we had lunches, yummy snacks and goodie bags!

This week, we proudly recognized Jasmine, Lauren, and Margaret — the friendly faces and calming voices that greet you when you walk through our doors or call on the phone. From scheduling appointments and answering endless questions to comforting worried pet parents and keeping our days organized, these three do it all with patience, compassion, and a smile. They are truly the heart of our front desk and an essential part of the care we provide to our patients and clients every day.

Please join us in thanking Jasmine, Lauren, and Margaret for their hard work and dedication to our clients, patients, and team. We appreciate you more than words can say! 🐶🐱🐾📞💻
