Tanglewood Wolfdogs is NO LONGER breeding at this time, but will keep this page open for our Tanglewood family and fans to continue to share updates and resources. Price is $1000 with deposit of $300 needed to hold a puppy spot. Breeding will take place once I have deposits to fill 6 spots. Then buyer expected to pay $300 more of total cost by pups 5th week and final $400 before pup leaves at 8 we

A huge dump of new Australian Wolfdog puppy pictures. These were taken at tractor supply for the puppies to get their microchips and at the Vet where they got their first puppy shots, and a few cute pictures of some of them, sticking their heads up to look at us from the back of the car as we were driving home. Dot now has one ear up and it looks like smudge is in the process of also getting one ear up. Still not sure if all of them will be upright ears or partially floppy.

Some updated “Australian Wolfdog” puppy pictures 😆. Their eyes are open now and they’re crawling around, but not fully walking and romping yet. The sqirmy girl, Smudge, has mellowed out a great deal so the first two pics are showing her. The next two pictures are the other two girls, black girl Blaze and red girl Dot, then finally the two boys, black boy Teddy and red boy Big Bear. Right now one female (not sure which yet) and Big Bear are the only ones spoken for. If you’re interested, please reach out.

Hello everyone :)

I have an important update for you all.

This was unplanned but not necessarily unwelcome. I recently had a total hip replacement and was basically recovering in my room for a couple of months. During that time and unknown to me, my son made an error in judgement and put Tauriel outside in a kennel with my Australian Shepherd boy Jasper and Corgi girl Kiaya. He did not notice that Jasper was A. now adult enough to breed, and B. showing interest in Tauriel, who is not yet spayed (though it is planned and will occur this summer).

Well I'm sure you can all guess the result. My son said he never saw or heard them tie and they were not out together long... BUT toward the end of my recovery when the dogs were allowed to be closer to me without me losing balance I finally noticed Tauriel looked like she'd gained weight again.

Then it dawned on me to ask him if they'd been near enough to each other and if he noticed anything, and he said he did see Jasper trying to mount her but "she didn't let him".

"Um, you mean she didn't while you were watching" I told him.

Well, luckily both parents are fully health tested but we now have half Aussie low/no wolfdog puppies available. Tauriel had 6 on April 21st but sadly one girl did not survive. They turned 10 days old on May 1st but eyes are still not open yet (a bit slower than our usual higher content woofer pups), but they are all chunky healthy and very active babies, a bit more vocal at this stage then the woofers too so they got that from dad.

I will be letting them go for 500 with all the usual puppy care provided (multiple wormings, first shots, plus microchip) and I do already have some interest so if you'd like to place a deposit please reach out asap.

If you are one of the peeps I met at Smithville please let me know when you contact me since you guys have first dibs :)
