Guess what? We got to do it again with a whole new bunch! This time it was Bridgeport Elementary school. This group really enjoyed giving Ballou a makeover. Roping was also a big hit. We helped a couple of riders get over their fear of horses and just had a lot of fun.
All students 7+ who colored and submitted will get a free meadow ride on us. Thank you Bridgeport Elementary for a fun visit.

Yesterday, Steph, Travis, Cheeto, Little Rose, Ballou and I got to go on a really fun field trip to Antelope Elementary school.

We learned about why we use the gear and clothing we do.

How to saddle

Travis gave a great roping demonstration but was a bit off his game and roped himself a couple of times. The kids had a blast roping

Ballou got a little color added to him. Which he truly loves (as long as treats are involved).

Lastly we got to, ride around the field. It was a great day with an awesome group of kids.

Thank you to the CDFW for getting us more fish. This time the crew ended up at Fremont lake. This has been something that we have been working on for the last 15 years. It feels good to finally get things going. Thanks, Corbin,Celeste, Q, Charlie and Kit Kat. We had 2 casualties but considering it was 9 miles in and 80 degree weather, it says a lot about the care and skill that you guys exemplified.
