Sonny, wearing his harness and leash, got to take a nice evening stroll today. He did great in his wagon. It’s a kids wagon that I used PCB pipe wrapped in bird safe rope to create perches. The wagon closes for safety if needed and it has plenty of ventilation— which I’m so glad for because we encountered (from a distance) a stray dog. I was able to quickly enclose him and used industrial clamps to “lock” it. I will eventually put water and food bowls in there when we get to the point of day outings or longer adventures, but for now, a little sunshine and exercise outings doesn’t warrant it. Sonny did amazing. I am humbled by his trust in me to put a harness on him and do whatever I need to do for him.
