““Do you pet sit in other people’s homes?”” Unfortunately I do not. But I offer multiple drop-ins or walks per day if you are local. “”Do you have dogs of your own?”” I do. But I keep them completely separate from our guests, because animals are unpredictable. I occasionally will introduce my little one to a guest because she just wants to play, but I ALWAYS discuss with the owner prior. “”Will you take a dog if they are not people friendly?”” Most likely, no. I have a hubby who helps in the am, and an almost 13yo son who loves to hang out with our guests, so human aggressive dogs are a no-go. I need to protect my family too. However, I will walk them or drop-in if I feel I can handle them (I can 😉). “”Do you have cameras?”” I do. I have 5 outside and 1 inside, so I have eyes on your dog at all times. But they are only accessed by my husband and I. They do record, however, so I can send videos. I also send pics and videos of activities throughout the day. And you can request them at any time. “”Do you require them being fixed?”” Nope. “”Do you have a full time job?”” This IS my full time job, and I’m loving every minute of it. 🥰 I’m in and out with walks and drop-ins every day, but I’m home most of the time. “”How do I hold a date for a stay?”” I require a non-refundable $50 deposit for a weekend, or $100 for a week that will go towards the stay. If you cancel less than 3 days before the stay, you lose the deposit. The full payment is due the first day of stay, because I can’t un-watch your dog. I also know that plans change, and things happen, but a lot of clients try to book on the same dates so I just want to be as available as possible. “”Do you crate the dogs at all?”” Short answer is no. But that’s entirely up to the owner. Normally if they are not crated at home, they won’t be crated here. However, I find that some dogs have separation anxiety that their owner is not aware of, usually because it’s in a new place, and the crate is the best option for their safety. I always communicate with the owner about next steps if it should arise. “”What if there’s an emergency?”” I would take them to your vet of choice, or Garden State Animal Hospital.
