🌞🐾 Keeping Your Pets Cool This Summer! 🐾🌞

As temperatures rise, it's important to help our furry family members stay safe and comfortable.

☀️ Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water.
☀️ Walk dogs during the early morning or evening hours.
☀️ Avoid hot pavement—it can burn sensitive paw pads.
☀️ Never leave your pet in a parked car, even for a few minutes.
☀️ Provide shade when pets are outdoors.
☀️ Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse.

Some pets, including brachycephalic breeds (Bulldogs, Pugs, French Bulldogs), senior pets, overweight pets, and those with medical conditions, are especially vulnerable to heat-related illness.

If your pet is showing signs of overheating, move them to a cool area, offer water, and contact your veterinarian immediately.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and enjoy a safe summer with your pets! ❤️🐶🐱
