Cedars Veterinary Hospital will be closed Monday May 25, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day. The office will reopen Tuesday May 26th at 8am. Plan ahead if your dog needs medications for fireworks or thunderstorms.

☀️🐾 Hot Weather Can Be Dangerous for Pets! 🐾☀️

Dogs and cats can overheat much faster than people — especially during hot summer days.

🚫 Please don’t leave pets in parked cars, even for a few minutes.
Cars heat up FAST.

🐶🐱 Watch for signs your pet is getting too hot:
• Heavy panting
• Acting tired or weak
• Drooling a lot
• Trouble walking
• Laying down and not wanting to move

💧 Easy ways to help keep pets safe:
• Make sure they always have water
• Keep them in cool/shaded areas
• Avoid long walks in the middle of the day
• Remember pavement can get VERY hot on paws

Some pets, especially flat-faced breeds like French Bulldogs and Persians, can overheat even quicker.

If your pet seems too hot or isn’t acting normal, contact your veterinarian.

✨🐾 Everyone meet Lilo! 🖤✨

Today we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Lilo, a gorgeous black French Bulldog puppy, during her visit to Cedars Veterinary Hospital — and this little girl brought ALL the boujee vibes. 💅🐶

From her shiny black coat to her confident little strut, Lilo made herself right at home soaking up attention from the staff. She was sweet, stylish, and already knows she’s the main character. ✨

We loved getting to meet this fancy little Frenchie and can’t wait to watch her grow up! Welcome to the Cedars family, Miss Lilo! 🖤🐾
