I had less than an hour to save Harold from a high kill shelter in MD. He came with an eye infection, ear infection, not neutered, tested or given preventatives.

Harold is now in boarding.

I think the biggest misconception in rescue is that it’s our responsibility to take care of dogs and cats in need because we chose this.

Make no mistake we didn’t choose to see and hear the horrific things we hear and see each day. We didn’t choose to help save a society that fails animals over and over again.

We didn’t choose to be their voice and we didn’t choose to dedicate such a huge portion of our lives and of our self for animals in need.

They chose us and we couldn’t watch from the sidelines any longer. The hardest part of rescue is walking away. I have serial stalkers, people willing to LIE on the stand against me, people who steal dogs from us and think they can sell them for profit, people who think that I work for the public or the govt and should cater to them.

We deal with A Lot of Mental Illness and we aren’t skilled, prepared or wanting to deal with it. We are solely here for our Dogs.

We need your support now more than ever because we aren’t JUST FIGHTING FOR THE DOGS IN OUR CARE. We are fighting in court for the biggest battle we have had to fight.

I’m Rex, as I settle into my foster home I’m realizing I made it, I’m safe. I’m telling you I’m the sweetest boy. I am always happy and ready for adventure. I love stuffed toys and hugs. I’m good with other dogs and kids but cats I seem to want to chase. I’m crate and house trained. I was treated for heart worm before my journey to NY. I’m staying near Fishkill. Tater is a male puppy from Georgia. He is fully vetted, 3-4 months and 23 lbs. He is crate trained, dog, kid and people friendly. He is afraid of cats.

I just picked up the 7th call in 2 days from people giving up Huskies they have no time for that run away and jump over fences and have a lot of energy.

If you are about to purchase a Husky for the Love of God please research the breed and make sure you are committed for 10-15 years to an escape artist!!!!

Do not purchase, help a Husky that will likely die in a shelter because of someone that was unwilling to do their homework.

I’ve met thousands of dogs, thousands of wonderful dogs. Nala is 2. She’s a shepherd mix with a light charcoal grey muzzle. She is visually stunning, soft like a teddy bear, sweet like sugar.

My connection to her was instant. Someone threw her away in Brooklyn NY. A police Sargeant reached out, I said yes. With your help I got Nala all the vetting she needed and her body completely shut down.

She got Ileus. Her gut shut down and all the food in the world was turned away. She completely stopped eating. We lost a dog just a few weeks prior and I remember looking at my vet with all of my might and I said “she cannot die”.

I never gave up on my girl not thru the hardest times ever. I adore this dog, I cherish this dog. To me, she is absolute perfection. I couldn’t dream of a better dog. Nala is good in the car, great with dogs, makes the best snuggly buddy and is fully vetted.

Best of all she is fully recovered with an excellent prognosis. Nala is why I do this, why I fight for dogs, why I live for dogs and why I ❤️ dogs. She inspires me to keep going.

She’s about 60lbs, house and crate trained, gentle and mushy.
