Y’all it’s been a long two months without this little girl! While our house is never truly quiet because we have so many dogs, it’s still quieter than it’s been in years 😣
Pika always announced her presence, and the others usually joined in with her when she started up! She chased lizards like it was her full time job, which is what she’s doing in this video.
Enjoy this very last video of our old girl hunting her lizards. She may have been old but she never let anything stop her 💕

Long video because they were over me and my demands today 🤣
I think Chief is the only one who didn’t ignore me 🤷🏻‍♀️
Some days the entire pack just taps out together, and that’s okay! That usually means they’re tired and ready for their afternoon nap 💤
By the time the sun sets they’ll be well rested and ready to go again!!

Good morning from most of the Dobie pack! We are missing Luna, who was still in the bed with Ryan. She looked at me like “no thanks” when I got up 😂

Mia’s brain decided to join the party some time within the last week and she’s now waiting at the gate too! So proud of her development. Can’t rush these things! With consistency and repetition they can learn just about anything you want to teach 🥰

Hank is one of Chief and Luna’s babies from last July. He sure has gotten big and he looks just like his dad!
Hank’s family is away on vacation, so we are keeping an eye on him til they get back. Looks like he’s taking care of the place just fine!! If I didn’t know him, I wouldn’t step any closer 🤣

Good morning from the Creekside dobie pack (featuring Slade the basset) ☀️🥰

Chief now knows “Open” instead of come, and it seems like the pack is catching on as well!!
If you remember, not long ago when we called Chief they all came running. I even tried to fake them out and Cooper thought better of it 😏😁
Little Mia however, she’s still learning. By the time she’s Chiefs age she will be opening the gate too!!

Salem and Cooper were exhausted by the time we made it home. We were grateful to get some good exercise in with them!! They needed it the most 🥰
