Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting the staff from Stamford JCC’s JumpStart program at Pegasus for an equine-assisted Leadership & Teambuilding experience! 🐴✨

Through hands-on, ground-based horsemanship activities, participants worked together to strengthen communication, build trust, and develop teamwork skills in a fun and engaging environment. These experiential activities help create stronger, more collaborative teams while building practical skills that transfer directly into the workplace and everyday life.

Thank you to the team for spending the day with us and embracing the experience!

Meet Georgie — one of Pegasus’ adorable remote employees. 🐾💙

While she mostly works from home, Georgie does make occasional barn appearances to visit her friends Abbi and Belle. When she’s off the clock, she’s busy working toward her Level 2 scent work title like the very talented girl she is. 👏

We’re pretty sure Georgie’s perfect balance of professionalism and playtime makes her employee of the month material. ✨

We're excited to share some exciting news at Pegasus!

The Board of Directors has appointed Candice Sciarrillo as Executive Director and Liz Fortes as Chief Program Officer. Together, they bring more than 30 years of combined experience at Pegasus and a deep commitment to our mission. Their leadership will help guide Pegasus into its next chapter as we continue expanding programs and changing lives through the power of horses.

Our horses are at the heart of everything we do. Through their calm presence, patience, and willingness to connect, they help children and adults build confidence, strength, independence, and resilience.

As Pegasus continues to grow, we are searching for the next special horse to join our herd and help change lives.

We're looking for:
• Mare or gelding
• 14.2–15.3 hands preferred
• 10–15 years old preferred
• Sound at the walk, trot, and canter
• Calm, tolerant temperament
• Safe to ride in the arena and on trails

We know exceptional horses come in all shapes and sizes, so age and size exceptions may be made for the right horse.

❤️ The right horse can make a lasting impact on hundreds of lives.
