S.N.A.R.R Animal Rescue Northeast GIVING HOPE TO THE HOPELESS SNARR Northeast was started in 2011 and is run by Courtney Bellew. We rely solely on donations as a 501c3 non-profit.

We are based out of New York but geography does not stop us when it comes to rescuing! SNARR saves the toughest dogs to place; those with serious medical conditions, deaf and blind dogs, severely emaciated dogs, the animals that nobody else wants; the dogs that would otherwise be euthanized. We also save perfectly healthy animals as well...there are countless lives and innocent beings who need our

help. Courtney Bellew, of Westchester County, NY visited the Manhattan Animal Care & Control Shelter and came across a special dog named Frankie, a deaf Pit Bull. There was just something about him, the look in his eyes, his calm nature…something that made her say: "I need to help THIS dog!” With a full house of her own dogs, Courtney began posting on Facebook for a rescue group to step up and legally take responsibility of Frankie while her and her husband fostered him. After volunteering for a few months, Courtney realized she had truly found her passion and SNARR Northeast was born. Donation can be sent:

This beautiful girl is Cocomelon (aka Luna)! 🥰

Cocomelon's story began as a stray, and she found herself in an overcrowded rural shelter in Georgia—but this beautiful girl hasn't let her past dim her shining spirit.

At 1 year old, Cocomelon is a stunning pup with a super soft, charcoal gray coat and an even softer heart. Her personality is truly something special—she’s friendly, bubbly, and full of joy. She's a total love bug and her tail wags practically non-stop.

Cocomelon loves being around people and does wonderfully with kids, making her a fantastic addition to many families.
She enjoys romping around the yard with her canine pals, and then curling up on the couch with her people at the end of the day.

Cocomelon loves toys, treats, and is very food motivated. She already knows "sit", "stay", and "paw", and is currently working on learning more basic commands. With her eagerness to please and positive attitude, she’s sure to thrive with continued training and guidance.

Lucy is fun-loving, curious, and always up for an adventure—whether that’s chasing toys, romping around the yard, going for long walks, or cuddling up after a busy day of play. This is Zoe.

Zoe’s story didn’t start out easy. She was found tied up on a property, confined to just a few feet of heavy chain, severely underweight and barely hanging on. Forgotten and struggling, her world was all too small, at no fault of her own. Thankfully, a few compassionate strangers noticed her suffering and stepped in to call for help, giving Zoe the lifeline she so desperately needed.

When we first saw Zoe, we knew there was something special about her. Beneath the hardship was a quiet strength, a resilience that refused to fade. Despite everything she’s been through, Zoe’s spirit is remarkably bright. She greets the world with gentle curiosity and a hopeful heart. She lights up around other dogs and eagerly welcomes new people, as if she’s choosing trust again and again, despite her rough past.

Zoe is a natural companion dog and is just happy to be with you, regardless of what the day holds. She will gladly follow you room to room and enjoys curling up next to you at the end of her day, finding comfort in the presence of her people.

Now, ready to make her trip up from Georgia to New York in search of a new beginning -- Zoe isn’t asking for much... A soft bed to call her own. Regular meals. Meet Remi!

Remi is a beautiful 10 month old rottweiler who is searching of a home and family to call her own.

Since moving into her foster home just a month ago, Remi has quickly begun to blossom. With simple kindness and the comfort of a safe environment, her true personality is starting to shine and let us tell you, this girl is a riot!

She absolutely thrives being around other young, playful dogs and is always up for being part of the fun. This girl is OBSESSED with balls and can't get enough of playing fetch; she's a natural and gladly brings it right back to you, again, and again, and again.

To complement her youthful zest for life; Remi also has a softer side. She’s a natural companion who loves being close to her people. She’ll happily follow you from room to room, content just to be by your side. She’s incredibly sweet and gentle at heart, eager to soak up all of your love, affection and rubs.
