S.N.A.R.R Animal Rescue Northeast GIVING HOPE TO THE HOPELESS SNARR Northeast was started in 2011 and is run by Courtney Bellew. We rely solely on donations as a 501c3 non-profit.

We are based out of New York but geography does not stop us when it comes to rescuing! SNARR saves the toughest dogs to place; those with serious medical conditions, deaf and blind dogs, severely emaciated dogs, the animals that nobody else wants; the dogs that would otherwise be euthanized. We also save perfectly healthy animals as well...there are countless lives and innocent beings who need our

help. Courtney Bellew, of Westchester County, NY visited the Manhattan Animal Care & Control Shelter and came across a special dog named Frankie, a deaf Pit Bull. There was just something about him, the look in his eyes, his calm nature…something that made her say: "I need to help THIS dog!” With a full house of her own dogs, Courtney began posting on Facebook for a rescue group to step up and legally take responsibility of Frankie while her and her husband fostered him. After volunteering for a few months, Courtney realized she had truly found her passion and SNARR Northeast was born. Donation can be sent:

Since 4th of July is just around the corner we decided to go with a patriotic theme to get ready for Independence Day!! Come out for some delicious food and cocktails while getting to bring your pup!

SNARR Northeast will be there with raffles and Pet Pantry will be there with their bone bar. All money raised will be donated to SNARR!

Yappy Hour will be from 5-8 with happy hour specials until 6:30. Draft beer specials all night long!

Hi there, I’m Comet. 💫

My foster mom says I’m the total package (I try not to let it go to my head). I’ve got a sweet temperament, a curious little brain, and a whole lot of love to give. I’m the kind of pup who wants to be right in the middle of everything — whether that’s playtime, exploring the world, or snuggling up close when it’s time to relax.

I’m a pretty smart cookie, too. I learned crate training and potty training pretty quickly (yep, I even ring a bell when I need to go out — pretty impressive, right?). I really enjoy learning new things, especially when there are treats and praise involved. 🦴

I LOVE other dogs and would really like a forever home with a canine buddy (or two!) to pal around with. Having a friend to play, learn, and share adventures with would make me so happy. I’m also good with cats, so I can fit into lots of different families. 🐕🐈

At 7 months old, I’m ready to find my forever home to grow up in. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, a cuddle buddy, and your new best friend… I think we should meet. 🐾

Eliana’s eyes tell a story. A story of strength, perseverance and a willingness to survive. Someone bred Eliana for the sole purpose of making puppies for money. They cut her ears, starved her and bred her over and over against her will. Then.. they threw her away.

Eliana was found skin and bones seeking refuge on a couch in a pile of garbage on the side of the road. None of us can even begin to fathom what Eliana has been through. This delicate and precious little soul has been abused and failed by humans over and over.. yet somehow she still loves and trusts us. Many months after being rescued from that dirty old couch, Eliana has blossomed into a mature, healthy, thriving dog now and she is so beautiful inside and out! She’s a stocky, teeny, tiny, itty, bitty, pittie weighing only 45 pounds!

Dainty and adorable, Eliana is an easy going girl who really doesn’t ask for much! She walks with her head held high and b***y swaying from side to side. A cozy home with trusting people to cuddle up alongside with few walks around the neighborhood each day and Eliana will be a happy camper!

Eliana prefers a home without other dogs right now. After being force bred for so long, we have realized that direct contact with other dogs cause stress for her. She minds her own business when walking by other dogs on the street, which is a great quality! Eliana sits on command, comes when called and hardly ever pulls on the leash. Shes basically perfect!!

Eliana is ready to finally live a life of luxury and kindness. We all know she deserves that and more! Come to meet her and be prepared to have Eliana completely melt your heart.

The Fourth of July is right around the corner! While it's a fun holiday for people, it can be one of the most stressful and dangerous times of the year for our pets. Fireworks, unfamiliar guests, loud noises, and open doors can lead to anxiety, injuries, and unfortunately, many lost pets.

Here are a few tips to help keep your furry family members safe:

🐾 Keep pets indoors during fireworks displays, even if they normally spend time outside.

🐾 Create a safe, quiet space in your home with their favorite bed, toys, and calming music or white noise.

🐾 Make sure identification is up to date, including ID tags and microchip information.

🐾 Exercise your dog earlier in the day to help burn off energy before the festivities begin.

🐾 Talk to your veterinarian now if your pet experiences anxiety during thunderstorms or fireworks. We can discuss options to help keep them comfortable.

After a terrifying emergency hospitalization for cluster seizures, Neo is finally HOME.

Our sweet boy is exhausted and still feeling the effects of the large doses of anti-seizure medications needed to keep him stable, but there is no place he'd rather be than curled up in a loving foster home surrounded by people who adore him.

His incredible fosters have been counting down the minutes until he came home, and we couldn't be happier to see him back where he belongs. Right now, Neo's job is simple: rest, recover, and soak up all the love.

The past few days have been an emotional rollercoaster. We were scared, worried, and desperately hoping for good news. Through it all, so many of you stood by Neo's side. Your donations, shares, messages, and prayers made it possible for us to provide the emergency care he needed without hesitation.

Meet Banchan!

This handsome 2-year-old boy is as happy-go-lucky and affectionate as they come. Banchan absolutely adores people and will happily soak up all the love and attention you're willing to give—then return it tenfold with endless kisses, tail wags, and devotion.

Banchan approaches life with pure joy and enthusiasm. He's the kind of dog who's always ready for the next adventure, whether that's a hike on the trails, a long neighborhood walk, a beach day, or simply joining his family for whatever fun the day brings. With his zest for life and eagerness to be involved, he'd thrive with an active family looking for a loyal companion to share their adventures.

This athletic young guy has an impressive play drive and never turns down a chance to enjoy his favorite games. Tug is his love language, and he's always up for a game of fetch, chasing a flirt pole, or showing off his skills on the spring pole. If there's a toy involved, Banchan is ready to play! He's also a smart boy who learns quickly and loves having both physical and mental outlets to keep him engaged.
