We couldn’t do all that we do without the help of our community! Right now, we have a lot of cute faces ready to go home, but we also have 3 medical cases- 2 neurological and 1 cancerous. Any little bit helps us, keep helping our 4 legged friends. ❤️

Meet Romeo!

We are currently seeking a volunteer who can take Romeo from Acampo to UC Davis for 2-3 rounds of life saving injections. This would starting in the next couple of weeks. Romeo’s neurological condition is declining, hard.

These injections, are his last shot.
Last form of treatment.
This is it, before we have to make a heartbreaking decision to let him go- for his health and safety.

Details-
🌓 Drop off would be in the morning, pickup would be late afternoon/early evening.
💪 Romeo is such a sweet boy, but he is strong. The volunteer will need to be able to handle our strong boy.
🕰️ It’s about an hr drive from Acampo to Davis.
✅ We will cover gas or supplies needed. Including a ramp if it is needed.

Romeo is one of our neuro cases and is very dear to our rescue, and these injections are needed. A volunteer to transport or even a temporary foster would be amazing. If you think you are up for either of these options please apply at

My name is Bear! Or “good boy”. I’ll take it however!!
I love to play, snuggle, roam, and meet friends.
I’m currently with this super nice lady, and she is taking such good care of me, while I wait for my family. All of my siblings found their people, and it looks awesome!! I know my turn is coming. Please, please, please, please help me find my mom or dad. Maybe someone with a kid friend to throw a ball for me? And if it’s not too much, maybe a yard for me to run in?

HELP! 🫶🫶🫶 HHR desperately needs some assistance setting up Quickbooks. There are only a couple of us doing everything, and we can't keep up, especially with our ED (me) having painful carpal tunnel making it extremely difficult to type/use a mouse. We also have no idea what to do LOL. Is there anyone out there who might be willing to volunteer a little bit of their time to help us get setup?
